Hotel was fine (clean & exactly what you would expect for what you are paying) But I booked a reservation and the front desk clerk was unable to find it. So at 1 am they just set me up with a direct booking (which was more expensive than what I had booked and they refused to honor that rate), I then had to call and cancel my old reservation (upon which they found my reservation). Felt like a bait and switch.

We decided to take a night in on our vacation by staying here for the whirlpool in the room. We live in lincoln. We booked us this gorgeous king suite room with the whirlpool in it. We were Abel to check in early, great. When we checked in and got to the room, the fireplace had no flames but put out a little heat if you ran it, super loud. They let us check the suite right next to us and the fireplace had flames but no heat. Hard to sleep, had to shut it off. The TV channels were spotty and far between, we were stuck watching a sitcom all night on CMT. We had 4 pillows on our king size bed that were flatter than pancakes since they were feather and super uncomfortable. The "king" sized bed wasn't even long enough for me and my feet were hanging off the bed. Half of the jets in the whirlpool didn't work. Then when we were getting ready to leave found a body piercing jewelry on the carpet which didn't belong to either of us. So our great relaxing evening was very non-relaxing. The only thing I can commend is the breakfast. It was good. I am very upset about the condition of this room. Especially since we booked it for the fireplace and whirlpool. So much for a relaxing night stay, more like wasted $150.

Used to really like this location. It was convenient for work and had really great staff. Drastically gone downhill. I have complained about dirty, used bathrooms upon room check in. This last time I couldn't get into my room from a broken door key reader, and then got moved to a room with a broken heater and men's shaved whiskers in the sink and tub. When I woke up the next morning to inform them of the broken heater, the owner's wife (told by the desk staff that was who I reported it to) seemed to know the heater was broken and offered to move me if I stayed another night. I can't stay here anymore. I've given it a lot of chances, but I don't feel safe and comfortable knowing this happens repeatedly. Not to mention I overheard staff sharing the dining room during their morning meeting discuss how dirty the juice nozzles were last time they cleaned. As I and other guests were eating breakfast....

Very friendly staff, room was clean, and the breakfast was really good, but the shower , no warm water. Yes I tried the cold side and it was even colder, I let it run on both side and the middle, nope no warm shower. I called front desk they wanted to come in my room and show me how to get the hot water to work.but it will be a little bit cause I'm busy. With the breakfast and front desk. . Icant you just explain it if there is another trick to getting the hot to work.

It was definitely recently renovated. It was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable for a 2.5 star hotel--exceeded my expectations. The breakfast buffet and coffee were above expectations for this star level. The staff were very friendly. It was safe.

The room was really gross. Spiders, beetles, hair, dust, soda, and some red stain we couldn't identify. Everything was old and run down. A/C worked really well - too well so the room was cold. Beds were comfy enough. Not sure if all Country Inn and Suites are this poor quality, but we won't be finding out. The one star is for the staff who was really helpful and friendly.

The staff was good. However we had room #110 and the air didn’t work well . Front desk offered to switch rooms but it was late and kids were asleep. But he did give us a fan. The pool wasn’t the cleanest but it was cold :) the room was a little dingy in bathroom. But for $100. Nowadays. It wasn’t that bad. Update: the new staff told us some rooms you have to use the wall thermostat. Hhmmmmm. Would have been nice to know the night before.

I travel often to Lincoln for work and in the past year and a half I’ve stayed here roughly a dozen times. I use priceline to book and get fantastic deals on this hotel. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms are spacious, and the parking is free. You have quick access to highways, quick access to the airport, and downtown is only about a 5 minute drive away. Mona and her staff treat me like royalty. They are an absolute joy and have always gone above and beyond with any little request I’ve had. I drive to Lincoln for work and after being on the road all day it’s great to see familiar faces when I check in. It’s honestly started to feel like a little home away from home. I have stayed at significantly more expensive hotels in the downtown area before, but honestly for what you get, you cannot beat this hotel at this price. Long time customer and I will be for the foreseeable future.

Was able to get a room during the recent snow storm we had and it was close to my job. Had to stay because I wasn't sure what I'd face the eve of the storm so this hotel was my best bet. Clean room bed was comfy was able to enjoy quiet time away from home till the storm passed the employee who checked me in was very helpful and was able to get a room quickly and be settled before the weather started to change that night. I enjoyed my stay and if I need a place to stay because of the winter weather I'll be coming here
