Blue Moon Fitness - Lincoln

I was always curious of this tiny little gym with a cool sounding name until I finally decided to give it a go and did a one day trial. I signed up after that one visit and I’m so happy I did. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, it has great amenities like hydro massagers, a sauna pod, and a computer program that analyzes your body composition in realtime to really give you a bird’s eye view of your body’s shape and composition so you can better determine what your fitness goals are (without the guess work). One thing I love about this gym is that there are no TVs playing the news, the gym plays great music and without the annoying TVs playing the depressing news you can actually focus and enjoy working out without distractions. This gym is a gem, I totally recommend it to folks who like a small (yet ironically spacious environment) a place where you can focus on getting your fitness on with no distractions, and a place where people come to know you by name and make you feel welcomed always.

Great gym to become a member at. The staff here are very friendly and excited to see you walk through the every day. Blue Moon Fitness is a gym that meets anyone's fitness level and makes you feel like you belong there. Jake Hersceid is a great Trainor there. I've been working with Jake for over a year. Blue Moon Fitness on N 48th is a true hidden treasure in this city. There's not a big flashy sign, there's no "sex & spandex" crowd looking for hook-ups when they're not admining themselves in a mirror. What you will find is an abundance of state of the art equipment in a sparkling clean facility with plenty of knowledgable, friendly staff. The cost is very budget friendly, enough so you really can afford to work with one of trainers. There's plenty of well-lit parking too. You can work out solo or join one of the many classes that are available. You own it to yourself to stop by for a tour.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My personal trainer Anthony is amazing! The facility is clean and there are many machines so there isn't any waiting. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone

I’ve been going to this gym for a little over a year and it’s great! Before coming to Blue Moon I had never worked out in a gym and the idea of doing so was pretty intimidating. After just a few weeks I knew it was a great place to work out at. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I’ve been training with Jake Herscheid consistently and I always look forward to it! He’s very encouraging and helps me stay on track of my goals and challenges me in a positive way. I highly recommend him as a trainer, and this gym to anyone who is considering joining!

If there less than one Starr I would give, so me and my wife signed up for a weekly membership and am paying for it, yesterday we both have been charged for an amount of $41.87 when I contacted them, they said this is for annual fees, I told them that I never been informed and they said they are sorry, no refund even though, in case I want to cancel the membership, I have to pay cancelations fees!!!!? Is that fair blue moon of Lincoln?? Update. I canceled my membership ship January 28th and still having them withdraw from my bank account, when I asked them about it they said after canceling your membership, you will still have access for the gim for one month and you will be charged for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you ever seen such a kind of steal for your money??

Don’t sign up. I signed up when I use to have a job in the area and could stop by after work. The place smelled heavily used and gave me headache after using the facility after an hour. You get what you pay for. (I used it as motivation to hurry get in and out) The WiFi was a hit or miss most days, but doesn’t bother me because I would use data on days that don’t. If I could do it again, I would hands down choose planet fitness over blue moon because they are more on top of cleaning their facilities. It’s literally the same price.

I love this gym so much! Started in Omaha but moved to Lincoln recently and I had the tier-3 membership so I could access any location, so glad to find one! The women's only area is a huge plus. No creepers lol.

I have just started coming to Blue Moon Fitness and without hesitation I can say it is hands down one of the most loving and friendliest gyms I’ve ever been to. The Staff is very welcoming and kind. Before my uncle passed away three years ago, Blue Moon was his go-to gym and he would tell me how he would take me with him to work out. He was like a big brother to me and I knew I had to check this place out. Unfortunately that day never came to be. He passed away a month later. But three years later I decided to join Blue Moon fitness, and now I can see why he chose this to be his gym. Easily a 10/10 workout spot. Great and happy environment!! Keep it up Blue Moon!
