Kinkaider Brewing Co. Grand Island

Good drinks don't make up for bad service and long wait in an empty restaurant Horrible experience I'll never go back. There was one other table filled in the entire place, and yet it took 25-30m for them to make a BLT. Even the onion rings app took 20+m and I ordered it immediately. It takes 3m or less to fry onion rings. There was at least 6 staff on, and they were super unresponsive. I had an empty drink on my table in clear view for 15+ minutes and no one stopped to say anything despite people walking by my table constantly. I had ordered something to go for my roommate and foolishly told them to wait to put it in, so then I had to wait another 20-30m for that. Food was bland and generic. BLT was ok, but the Reuben I ordered was kinda gross. All cheese, hardly any meat or sauerkraut, couldn't even taste the thousand island. Servers were friendly but awkward. I felt judged for ordering two meals for myself just so I could take something home. I left 5 pennies as a tip and I don't feel bad. Get some better staff.

I love this place! We stopped in with our two young boys after a 9 hour car ride - they were wild and our server (Rosa G.) plus another server took the time to sit down with them and play! It was amazing. They were so kind and friendly. The food was good and the beer was even better. Loved the entire vibe of the place. If we lived here this would definitely be our go-to!

The waitress was friendly, the food delicious, the atmosphere comfortable and familiar. I would go back again and again because there were so many delicious sounding entrees I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to order!

Kim was a great waitress. Had a big party in and she was very patient with us and did a great job dealing with a rowdy crowd.

Service was not that great. Food was ok. When the server brought out the food, she said to me "Did you order food? I can't remember if you did" I told her that I did. She then said the kitchen forgot to make it & asked me what I had ordered. Apparently she couldn't look at our ticket to find that out so I told her again what I wanted. By the time I finally got my food everyone else was done eating. One person in our group ordered mac & cheese. It was cold. Not a lot of flavor. Rather dry. The Cajun chicken Flatbread, that I ordered, I thought it would be spicy but wasn't. Didnt really have much flavor. We've eaten at Kinkader in Broken Bow and the food & service there was great. Disappointed in this one in Grand Island.

Visited twice over a 2 week period. 1st time by myself sat at the bar and received great service. The mac and cheese was very bad but I thought it was an off night so I tried it the 2nd visit still just as terrible. Why an up-charge for a bad product?! Sat at a bar top to 2nd visit with coworkers and the waitress was "not that great". She told us all kinds of stuff was out but went up to the bar to see what substitutes and the bartender said we have plenty of "that". Maybe ask and not assume... Literally 5 feet from bar top...

We live on the Kentucky side across from Cincinnati and we were visiting my family in Nebraska. We joined my sister and brother-in-law for a great steak at their favorite place in Kearney. My wife tasted your Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Ale. She thinks it's the best beer ever made! We couldn't find it anywhere because it was at the end of your seasonal. Then we found you in Grand Island on our way back to Kentucky. Needless to say, our car was loaded with crowlers on the trip back home. We'll see you again soon!

Hàd the smoked pulled pork chimichanga smothered in cheese sauce. It was delicious. A lot of food, could only eat half of it. Fries were crispy and awesome. Service was great! Waitress was personable, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was very cool. Refurbished downtown older building. Very festive for holidays. The have their own brews, and our party was commenting on how good the bloody mary's were. Definitely will come back.

I had such a great time at this bar! It literally looks like a holiday hallmark movie inside. Deb was our bartender, she's so witty, everything you expect from the spirt behind the spirits. She even told us all about the history of the building. Do recommend !
