Gary's Quality Automotive

When my car broke down I called Gary's automotive they were very helpful got me in right away and I had my car back by the next morning. They took me home and picked me up when my car was ready. They gave me a quote explained the cost and that was what I paid. They were all so nice and I felt certain I was treated fairly and honestly. I can't say enough good things about them.

The staff was very social and pleasant. The culture there is old school thinking. Basically they are not afraid to show they value third customers! The alignment job was done excellent n fair priced. I went to another supposably reputable place in town a month ago for an alignment. Green's did the job and did not tell me that my struts were heading bad, which is part of the suspension! I went back and said something was wrong. They drove it 6 blks and said no problems. Well what I felt got worse fast. Got a second opinion n followed up with with new struts. Then, was told needed an alignment. Green's refused to take responsibility and said that they would charge me for another alignment. I did not feel like a valued customer and question their morals and values of the work place. Thank goodness Gary's speaks my language and treated me the way a customer needs to be treated! Plus they did a much better job!

This place is AWESOME! Traveling to Grand Island to take my elderly parents to a couple of doctors appointments...driving my father's pick up. After a couple of stops, the battery light came on, about a block down the street...on the busiest road in the city...the pick up just died, no power at all. After a call to 911, carry nice police officer directed traffic and called us a tow truck...which was Gary's. They loaded us up, took us to their shop...and Gary lined us bus own vehicle so I could get my parents to their next appointment. After anew alternator we were back on the road headed home. These people were so, so nice!

Gary's was the only mechanic shop that would take on my Rear main seal other problems. Vera & Roger were great to work with. After the repair they followed through with all touch ups and took great care of me. Thank you!!

I went to Gary’s just to have a look through before a road trip to family. They were very honest and discovered a big problem and advised I either cancel or take another vehicle. I had no other auto so decided to fix it. They were great letting me know what it would cost and had it done in a couple days at a lesser price than quoted and I still made to see my family for the holiday. Thank you Gary’s Automotive and special thank you to John the mechanic who advised me of the problem. Take your auto to Gary’s as they are honest and up front about any problems and fix it very professionally.

I bring my vehicle from North Platte for service and repair here. I trust the staff and the mechanics. The customer service is exceptional and the mechanical work is always solid. The peace of mind is worth the 2 hour drive one way. Highly recommend for any issue big or small.

We had truck trouble while traveling across NE during the middle of the night. We went to Gary's the next morning on the recommendation of a different shop. Gary and John were quick, courteous and went the extra mile. Gary transported us to and from our hotel a couple times and had several suggestions to make our 2 night stay in Grand Island better. They over-nighted our needed part and went straight to UPS to pick it up rather than wait for it to be delivered. They even had to fabricate a special tool to take my truck apart because it was so badly damaged. Thank you Gary and John. You are stand up guys and it was a pleasure working with you!

Driving from MN to CO, and my car broke down on a Saturday in Grand Island, NE. Gary’s is closed on Saturday and Sunday, so I left a message explaining my situation. They were able to get me in right away on Monday morning, and we’re so kind and helpful. You can tell they really care about their customers and will do whatever they can to help. Would highly recommend, very nice!!!

I was traveling between Iowa and Colorado and needed an oil change on my Dodge pickup. Vera got me right in. The service technician did a fast and fantastic oil change.
