The folks at Gary's went above & beyond to give me the best customer service possible. When I called to make an appointment for an oil change for my daughter's car, Vera informed me that I could print a discount coupon from Facebook. When I came in, I let them know I was not able to pull the coupon up on my phone. Cindy, Gary's marketing person, helped me with my phone & eventually printed the coupon for me! My daughter has just moved to the area from half way across the country. The people at Gary's gave me a great sense of security that when she needs help with her car, they will be there to help. They will even email her a reminder when it is time for her next oil change. I HIGHLY recommend Gary's Quality Automotive.

Cleanest auto shop I’ve seen! Honest and quality work! I had to tow my car to Gary’s and is the best in grand island and surrounding areas that I’ve been to! They were pretty quick and got me back on the road! 5 star!!!

Passing through Grand Island in our way home to Iowa our car's alternator went down spent the night called Gary's first in the morning. They sent a towing truck right away, got us in were told it be ready next day, to our surprise they were able to get it done same day and even gave us a ride to their shop to get our car. Wow what a great service if we were locals definitely they would be our repair shop of choice. Thank you again.

Wow! What a group of kind individuals. We were having some coolant issues on a cross country trip. They bled the system of air and drove the car 25miles under varying conditions to make certain of no heat creep. Did I mention they personally drove and picked us up from a local diner because it was -27° windchill that day. Class acts!!!

Gary's not so quality automotive. If you're local, maybe they'll actually take care of you. We had our car break down on the way back to Denver on a Saturday. The car was overheating, operable, but overheating. We had it towed to Gary's after hours knowing we didn't want to cause any further damage and we waited until they opened on Monday. Monday came, we were told it was a simple fix but they needed to get parts. No problem, what's one more day?As with all mechanics, 80% of our bill is labor. No problem, happy to pay for expertise if it gets ya home. Our car was complete on Tuesday. We pay our bill over the phone and pick up the car in the evening. No less than two hours later we were again overheating! The same problem we dropped it off with is happening TWO HOURS after we pick it up. We get the car to a hotel because it's after 7. The next day is New Years day so no mechanic is open. At this point we're 4 days into dealing with this problem. I had left a VM on the machine at Gary's the night it happened (Tuesday) and had a call Thursday AM from office manager Vera due to the holiday. Second star since they actually called back.To my surprise, her response was NOT, I'm sorry this happened, let's get this figured out for you. Instead, we were told, "well you drove two hours so we did fix it." Are you kidding me? We could drive the car when we dropped it off we just didn't want to cause any further damage. Vera says, maybe you had a bad part but that's not our fault. Ok, no worries, you don't make the parts but what's the deal when our car breaks down two hours later? Are you going to work with us? Maybe a discount in labor? Anything? I'm not asking for a full refund but you didn't actually fix the problem. We attempted to get it in to another mechanic as Gary's would warranty the part. Which by the way is a 25 dollar thermostat. That's not the problem. It's the other 650 we paid in labor. Now I have to pay someone else 650 but I get a free 25 dollar part? Thanks Were now at 6 days of hotels and we're just fed up. We couldn't do another night stranded in NE so we decided to cut our losses and sell the car as we could no longer wait for someone else to try to fix this problem. Since I couldn't get it into another mechanic, Gary's said there's nothing they can do. So friends, go to Gary's for the best two hour satisfaction guarantee in town.

I broke down on interstate 80 as I was traveling to our new house in Arkansas. Heath from triple A safely towed me to Gary's shop at 12:30ish am. They were very patient with my lack of ability to explain what was happening with my truck. It reacted different under a load. I was towing my jeep behind it. Turned out I needed a new distributor. They put me back on my way extremely quickly even though they were busy with a lot of vehicles waiting to be worked on. I, and my wife,( she stayed in California,) are very grateful that they took the worry out of my predicament. Dave Homen.

I took my vintage 1974 VW Bus to Gary’s hoping he or his staff would be able to work on it. His radio add states anything foreign and domestic. I met with Gary, gave him a brief history of the vehicle, and he introduced me to Roger, the technician who worked on my VW. Both Gary and Roger kept me updated on the issues they were finding with my VW as well as updates on costs. I was really surprised when I got a call from Gary on a Sunday morning letting me know my VW was ready to go. He wanted to let me know so I could pick it up before the bad weather that was forecasted for Monday. Roger reviewed everything he had done before I left. My VW bus runs great 👍. Thanks Gary and Roger for the great service!! Randy

We had a break down on the interstate with our truck while towing a our camper. AAA recommended GQA. We were able to leave our trailer on site while they looked at our truck. They prioritized our truck and got us a diagnosis very fast. They're extremely helpful and if I lived in Nebraska I would use them often. Can't say enough, quality people.

We've been to Gary's for several issues, from routine transmission maintenance up to a serious problem with the A/C. They've always been great to work with. They've been above board about everything, and any time there's an issue after the repair, they've looked into it without charge or any hassle at all (even when, in one case, the issue was entirely in my imagination). I don't even bother calling around for prices on repairs (large or small) any more. We want a mechanic we can trust, and that's what we've found at Gary's. Highly, highly recommended.

Excellent service each time I've needed Gary's. They get me in quickly, have the work done right and in a reasonable time frame, and have provided the added value of a shuttle while work is being done to my car.
