Comfort Suites

Buyer beware. Additional charges will be attempted on your card long after you have checked out. ADA and Service Animal owner's stay as far away from this place as possible. They tried to charge me an extra $100 for a "cleaning fee!" Fortunately, my bank stopped the charge, but now I have to wait for a new card!!! Take pictures at check-in and right before you check-out as I do. The "extra burden" in the owner, Milo, reply is the bed comforter and the chair. Milo was emphatic and specific when he stated to me, in a phone call, that this hotel does not change the bed comforter upon a guests departure. IF his guests deserve a clean room and this hotel is "picky" as Milo stated to me, then a clean bed comforter should have been put on the bed and the bed comforter in question, removed and cleaned. Instead, Milo decided to spend time removing the hair from the bed comforter for the next unsuspecting guest. Who knows, the next guest could have an allergy to dog hair and have an episode. Think hard before spending your money and night at this facility.

My family stayed at the Grand island comfort suits after experiencing difficulty with our vehicle on a cross country trip. The lobby was very clean. The room was impeccable. Beds were clean and comfortable, plenty of linens were provided. In the morning breakfast was warm and tasty. And most importantly the staff was refreshingly warm and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here.

Need better wheelchair accesible rooms. The showers need improvement, the shower bench on the wall has a bar right where my back would be. The employees could always use accessibility training so they have a better understanding of accommodation for wheelchair users.

We found the hotel after a stressful day of roadtripping. The stay was exactly what we needed to recover. The hotel is extremely clean. The staff is super nice. We got a 2 bed suite since that's all they had available. It was too much space for 2 people but would be a great space for a family of 4. The beds were soft, which is to my liking, although my husband wished the beds were firmer. Either way, we slept like babies. Breakfast was honestly so yummy. We got the scrambled eggs, waffles and sausage links. The staff followed social distancing and served our food for us. Overall, would recommend staying here!

My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Suites in Grand Island, Nebraska after a long day of traveling. What a lovely hotel!! Everything was meticulously clean and fresh. The staff was so helpful and professional. The king room was beautiful and so comfortable. The glass shower was a lovely treat! Thank you for a wonderful experience for these weary travelers!

Can't speak for the location as I want driving, but this was a pretty top notch hotel. The room was super nice: two beds with a fold out couch. Very comfortable. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast.

When you walked into the lobby, it smelled clean. Everything was fresh looking and there was no papers laying around in the sitting area. The suite was excellent, large, the sofa was perfect for lounging while watching TV. Great location, several restaurants within a 3 mile radius. The bed was very comfortable. Temperature control of the room was perfect. Nice breakfast choices and there was an attendant that gave you the item you wanted. By using this process, the area stayed very clean, the attendant prepared your waffle (no more waffle batter on the counter) or people touching/picking up items and then putting back down or back into the container (which I have observed before)and to me is a far more sanitary. If traveling through that area highly recommend staying there. Staff is great, friendly and courteous. You will not be disappointed.

The rooms were the best part. Service was not particularly friendly nor were they any good at preparing breakfast. No late check outs and coffee was empty in the lobby because they were too busy pretending to be cooks. May I ask why I would want to choose your hotel over somewhere else when I leave here feeling hungry and less than appreciated.

From the first contact, I called to find out availability and price, and I was impressed with the employee who I talked with. I made the choice right then, without looking any further. The staff, the amenities, the room, the bed, and the breakfast were all outstanding. I wish all hotels were as clean and welcoming as this one. I can't say enough good things about my stay here.

We were in Grand Island for an unexpected funeral over Christmas. The staff was excellent and made us feel at home during this difficult time. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfy. We stayed for 6 days and staff got to know us so well that they knew exactly what we wanted for breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
