Anderson CDJR of Grand Island

My vehicle sat Anderson Ford CDJR for over a month. Two weeks of that month was waiting on a turbo actuator that no one could tell me the status of. Someone told me they were putting the actuator on as we spoke when really the actuator wasn’t even shipped to Grand Island nor did they know when it would be there. I realize that things take time to ship and be fixed on vehicles but I really don’t appreciate being lied to and left hanging for over a month without a vehicle. I had to call multiple times a week to get a status update as no updates were given to me. In the past when I brought this vehicle here I’ve asked the service department to fix things that were never fixed or even addressed.

We purchased our Jeep here less than 45 days ago and they said it went thru their inspection process. Took it on out first out of town trip and the check engine light came on along with the change oil soon light. I scheduled service and they came and picked it up on a Tuesday morning. I get a text from them on Tuesday afternoon saying that it needs an oil pump for $950 plus the $130 Diagnosis Fee, which I could have gotten done for free at Advance Auto Parts which I had just done on the car that I previously owned. I had to approve the repairs via a text and did not hear a word from them on Wednesday. My Jeep is still in the shop and I have not heard a word. We called the Sales Rep with no answer and left a message for the Sales Manager with no call back. I understand that it is a used car with no warranty, but I have bought many used cars in my life and I have never had a car require a $1000 repair 45 days after it was purchased. This is the first car that I have purchased from a large dealership and the first car that I have had a $1000+ repair on after owning for such a short time. I would have at least expected a call back and some negotiation on the repair bill, but crickets..... update.... It is now 24 hours later from this review and I have not heard anything from them, I texted the tech that texted me with no response.

This place was quick. They were able to get my van in quickly then took care of the problem that day. Only negative is they didn't look at my warranty to see if the part was cover. Thankfully I asked about it when they called to say it was done. It took a bit for them to get back to me about the warranty but it was covered and all was good. Very friendly staff.

Great experience from the first time I stepped through the door, to getting my car ordered to keeping me informed of the order status. I will do business with them again. If your looking for a Friendly helpful staff go see them in Grand Island Jeep.

Didnt go to buy a car but my girl was having severe hot flashes and we stopped inside to cool off. The salesmen there brought us water and gave us good advice on how to beat the heat! Good service!

Last June my car had an issue with the battery! After 2 weeks they replaced the battery charging me almost 700 dollars! During those weeks I asked them to have a car and their answer was WE Don’t have a car for you ! Nice ! They didn’t care about the guarantee I paid when I got this car ! Now last Tuesday my car went completely down and of course I took my car to de dealer again. Today is Saturday. They haven’t check anything. They just ask me how did I turned it on again and no answer about my car . This is last time I do something with them ! For me this dealer doesn’t exist ! They are not working on it! They just play with you ! Don’t go with this dealer ! They are just thinking of money and bad service!

Had our jeep taken there due to service engine light and engine saying it is overheated. Called next day and didn’t seem like it had been looked at yet but was told a technician would call me in the afternoon. Called the following day and was told they were going to call me with some prices. Called them again the next day and was told the battery had gotten unhooked and cleaned off prior to any codes being read and were cleared due to the reset. Told them the battery was never the concern so they offered to take it for a test drive after already being there for three days. Again offered to call me back and never did. Attempted to call Saturday to see if we could just pick it up but shop was closed already. Went to pick it up Monday and all our receipt read was that we told them it just wouldn’t turn on. Did not contain any of the other information we had given. Got charged 130 for a test drive and our battery being cleaned. Never received a return call any of the three days I was told I would.

Very courteous and professional. Got me in before my appointment and out the door very quickly. They were very appreciative of my military service and expressed it as I was checking out. Thank you for recognizing veterans!
