Will not go back to this dentist. Dr. Straub was very rude and condescending. If I could give him negative stars I would. The reception staff and dental assistant were wonderful!! I would give them 5 stars! Hopefully Dr. Straub doesn’t treat his staff as poorly as he does his clients. Don’t waste your time with him.

I would not refer this place to anyone. The dentist and hygienist at the Mission Ave location are rude, demeaning and unprofessional. I took my business elsewhere, and got a very different assessment. I decided to return the electric toothbrush kit that I bought there for $100.00 CASH! That was 3 weeks ago! I live a few blocks away. They said they cannot give me cash and will mail a check. But, when??? This was 3 WEEKS AGO!!! I PAID CASH!!! I want my refund!

I had a tooth that was falling apart and I work at a bank do it hard to get it, Not only did they get me on my day off but pulled the tooth I feel a whole lot better I can't say thank you enough. Also he was super fast like less then 2 mins and the tooth was out and I didn't feel a thing

Incredible experience! Firstly, I would like to say I have terrible anxiety and I was a bit nervous at first to go see the dentist in general. I previously have not been to the dentist in probably a solid 10 years. Dr. Srob and his assistant were amazing, professional, very welcoming and relaxed. The front desk people are also very outgoing and huge shout out to them for making it a good initial impression. I was nervous at first but I soon felt relaxed and happy that my teeth were taken care of. As far as coronavirus protocols, they were also incredible and very pro-mask, which is great to see. You are required to wear a mask in the building, and if you have a medical exemption I would call them prior. Right now I do not have insurance, as there was complications with mine during the quarantine and I am waiting for it to be kicked in, however if you have your insurance credentials, they will help you with that too, once the benefits kick in. If you do not have insurance, you will have to pay out of pocket.

I hope that a simple review will stop anyone from EVER going to Dr. Straub at Summit Dental in Bellevue, NE. Horrible bed side manner and talks down to patients as if we are stupid. I trusted what he said and it was a total mistake. I will continue to go to Summit only at a different location. If Dr. Straub does not like his profession he should quit!

I just had the best experience ever getting a cracked filling removed and replaced by Peter Straub, DDS. He placed the swab with lidocaine on the place of injection for at least 5 minutes, much longer than any other dentist I have gone to. This ensured that the injection was truly just a small “stick”. The old amalgam filling was ground out and removed with a wet vac by his very competent Dental Technician, Tammie. It was a very quick and comfortable process. It was the 1st time I made it through a tooth filling appointment without feeling extremely anxious. I highly recommend this office, Dr Peter Straub, Tammie and all the other wonderful staff members. Great job Summit Dental, Old Town Bellevue, NE!!!

EDIT: Changed my review to 1 star because after getting a second opinion with another dentist, I was told I didn’t have a cavity nor was my tooth going to fall out. They were trying to get more money out of my insurance company for something completely unnecessary. DON’T GO HERE and if you have, contact your insurance or get another opinion on things they’ve had you do because I guarantee I’m not the only one this has been done to. Again, front desk staff and techs are great, but unfortunately they aren’t the ones working on your teeth. I appreciate their kindness at least because Dr. Straub needs to find a different job or quit. FIRST REVIEW: I came here after having an awful experience with One World only to have an awful time here too. While I understand that going to the dentist is never fun, it shouldn’t be made worse by dentist with poor manners. I saw Dr. Straub and the entire time was uncomfortable. He didn’t speak to me other than to tell me what was going on, basically ignored my questions and made me feel small. He said I’m not brushing correctly, told him I brush, floss and use mouthwash 3 times a day. Then asked him what I could be doing differently, no clear answer. He told me I have loose teeth on the bottom, well what can we do? No clear answer. Just “we’ll check on it occasionally at your other appointments. But it’s definitely going to fall out and your insurance I don’t think will cover and repairs.” Wow. Thanks. Now I’m at home crying because I’m scared about losing my teeth. After reading the reviews (after I went of course) I realize other people have had this same issue with him. I’m supposed to go back to get a wisdom tooth removed, but now I’ll probably cancel. The receptionists were amazing. Super lovely and friendly. So was the tech who took my X-rays. I’d like to thank them for making my visit at least a little bit better. I’ll be canceling my appointments and finding another office to go to. Even if I do have issues with my teeth, I need someone who will understand how hard that is to hear and treat me with compassion.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. No professionalism. Dentist assistant, unprofessional patient jokes and Dentist doesn't greet you, just comes in performs his mediocre work ,talks at you and depart. This place needs to be off the military provider list. Next time I'll choose travel over convenience. Have the nerve to ask for you to fill out your survey and leave it with them. No thank you, I'll send it in myself. Not worthy of any stars.

Had a tooth emergency and they got me in very fast and were very kind and helpful. Did a great job with my tooth extraction. Will go back for future visits.

It was very nice meeting the new Dentist and staff. You have a nice waiting area and was impressed with the color and the material used on the walls. I was also wondering if you knew who done your hand rails. I going to have some concrete work on my place and going to need hand rails. I really like the ones you have on the steps. If you know who I can contact it would be much appreciated. Thank you
