I hired Moving Made Smooth for my in town move over the weekend and I can't give these guys enough stars. They called me to let me know that they were running behind, by only 15 minutes, showed up and got right to work. They brought the muscle and know how to get many large, and bulky items out of a house and townhouse into my new house. I badly underestimated how long it would take, but they were happy to stay late on a Saturday and help is finish up. The three gentlemen that moved us were clean, professional, curtious and genuinely happy to help us with everything. Thank you Moving Made Smooth!

This is an excellent moving company. The crew showed up 15-20 minutes before the scheduled time, and they were organized and ready to go to work. They worked hard and moved quickly. The workers carefully moved furniture around obstacles and through doorways without making scratches on the door frames or the furniture. They packed up the truck efficiently so we didn't have any rub marks or scratches on the furniture when we arrived at our destination. We were so impressed. We definitely recommend Moving Made Smooth.

I hired this company October 17th! At first everything was great. Communication, professionalism, they were on time and seemed careful. As the move progressed things began to change. We had two movers in total. The taller gentleman was careless with our furniture, dropping items heavily, bumping into walls. Just being aggressive and careless. Not to mention, cursing out loud with a young child near by and complaining about the furniture. Continuous smoke breaks during the move on a non-smoking complex and discarding the cigarette butts wherever they pleased. We began to look at our items which many were less than 30 days old… a large chunk of paint missing from our dining room table. Walls are scratched up from how the furniture was brought in. The back of the dresser is starting to come off and there are various scrapes/scratches. They also lost various parts needed to put one of the bed frames togethe. Not to mention, although asking to have my furniture placed where I would like it, they simply placed it in the middle of the room. Leaving me to move heavy furniture to its respective place. Additionally, not even attempting to bring one of the bed frames to the second floor of the house, because they believed it wouldn’t fit. Simply with a little more patience and care they could have brought it up with ease…like my sister and I were forced to do. When calling to express my concerns…the owner in charge kept saying he was going to call and figure out what could be done. Still no call and no word from the company altogether…and really don’t expect one. DEFINITELY, watch this company if you do decide to hire them. You don’t want damaged furniture/walls and have to end up moving furniture they were too lazy to move. Would not recommend!!

We have used Moving Made Smooth 3 times over the past 4 years for various members of our family. Andrew and his crew are absolutely incredible. They were on time at 0830 and quickly assessed the job, padding floors and doorways to prevent damage. The move out went quickly and uneventfully. They followed me to our new house and covered all floors and doorways with pads. They were efficient, friendly and incredibly careful with our furniture. We were completely moved in by 3 PM without a single scratch, rub on the wall or anything else. The guys allowed me to help them which made the job go even quicker. I have recommended them many times and will continue to do so. Hint to homeowners for an easy move: do your packing ahead of time and have boxes stacked near the door AND buy lunch for the guys so they can eat between load in and load out. They were very polite and grateful for that (and the tip). Overall, a great experience!

Moving made NOT smooth. First I’ll preface this by saying I understand things come up and schedules can change. I’m pretty adaptable. I had the WORST experience with Ken and his company. I called and scheduled my move (it was a 2 stop move with a treadmill at each stop) and initially booked 1 stop with 3 men for a couple hours. Went out of my way to ensure I received their confirmation email with invoice. Noticed they even charged more for labor than what was on the website. Then I called back to add a stop and then another hour as I wanted to be sure to block out enough time. Asked about the labor rates and was told they changed and then asked if I was okay with that. Said sure. Thought everything was good. Then on the Thursday before I received a confirmation call from the company confirming my move and time. I then called back Friday to ensure the team had tools to move the equipment and detach the guard rails. I was assured they carried tools and it would be okay. Fast forward to the day of the move. I had already reserved a truck and coordinated schedules for 3 people to make this happen. I show up at the initial stop at 10am. No one is there. I decide to call the company at 10:10am to check status and was informed by Ken he was just about to call me and let me know if scheduling mishap. He totally threw his office manager under the bus. In a calm way I expressed my disappointment as I rented a truck and coordinated schedules. After going back and forth for a few minutes and with Ken offering to now do the move for free, I asked one more time - can you get this move done today and if so what time? I was assured by Ken that yes they could get the move done today and it would be between 1 and 2pm. To call him in an hour to check status. I called in an hour and Ken was like it’s looking like 2pm. Said he would call me. I called uhaul changed my drop off time and coordinated schedules again. 130pm comes around and I haven’t heard from Ken. I called. No answer as a matter of fact it went to voicemai early as not I was called his personal cell phone. Waited another 30-40 mins nothing from Ken and called again, this time the office and no answer. This was June 14th. As of today I have not heard from Ken or his team. Not that I’d use him now even for free. I should have known when he said that he had no plans on doing the move. This is sad because I used the company once before and had a great experience. I will never recommend or use this company again. Ken is a total flake. Buyer beware.

Ken and his team are exceptional! As a family, we have utilized their services and expertise several times. Our most recent move was across states and from booking to the day of our move in, the Moving Made Smooth team were there to assist us. The crew that moved us in were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They worked fast and efficiently and safely moved all of our items. We highly recommend this company for all of your moving needs! A+ service all around. Thanks again Moving Made Smooth team!

AJ and his crew loaded five PODs for us. Our furniture and breakables arrived without one problem. We are grateful to them for their expertise. They did an excellent job. We highly recommend Moving Made Smooth.

When I advised that movers damaged a couple walls at my previous home, Ken was apologetic, at the time. After numerous calls, texts, etc asking to pay the invoice for drywall, it still goes unpaid. Very unprofessional! You run a business, therefore, mistakes that are made should be dealt with and not ignored. Do not use these movers, unless you wish to have issues. Update with business reply: don't you dare come at me saying I hired out drywall. I hired it out after repeated calls, texts, etc. Ken never responded and even my realtor got involved and still my invoice goes upaid. That is what is unprofessional. If you are going to say you are going to fix it, then fix it. I shouldn't have to call multiple times and send multiple texts with no reply. My paypal is still waiting.

My friend was moving from the 3rd floor and hired moving made smoothe. They were very professional and friendly. They provided special wrapping for our tv’s and other pieces of furniture. Very thorough and efficient.I highly would recommend that you hire this company on your next move! Thank you again for all the help. Took away alot of the stress that wa usually added my moves in the past.

The worse experience ever. First I get a call right before they are to show up that they will be an hour late. They showed up an hour past the hour they said they would show up. They were over 2 hours later than originally suppose to show up. One of the packers was on his phone more concerned about a rental property than packing the truck. One of them was carrying a 1935 singer sewing machine and dropped it down the concrete steps, with it landing on the concrete. I saw it happen, he NEVER said anything to me about it. When packing my dressers they were no covered. There were things packed on top of them. By the time we got to the destination the finish had been scratched off the top with some deep scratched in the top. There was a sofa table that was set in the truck upright with heavy things sitting on top of it. Two of the feet broke off. I called Ken. He told me to email pictures and he would email me forms. I sent the pictures and almost a week later I have not heard anything from him. I have left him a voice message, still not heard back. I would NEVER use this company again or refer them to anyone. I'm giving them one star because they won't let me give them zero stars.
