Heartland Pet Hospital

At this time we have 3 giant breed dogs. Two English Mastiffs and a Great Dane mix. Both Mastiffs are rescues. Both are anxious and fearful going to the Vets. But the staff have always been so kind, gentle, and caring with them both. I really couldn’t ask for a more understanding care team. Heartland have been taking care of our large and giant breed pups for a while now. We’ve always been greeted warmly by Sam. Dr. Tucker has made time to call and check up on whichever pup is under her care. Dr. Susan Kliewer, has always taken her time to answer any and all of our questions with patience . Dr. Andrew Kliewer, had to give us terrible news. He did it with gentleness,and compassion. When the techs take our babies back, to draw labs or run other test, we can hear them gently talking and calming them, there always seems to be laughter too. But, the most important part is, we trust Heartland Pet Hospital. If you are looking for a Veterinarian, we highly recommend Heartland. We absolutely love our Veterinarians.

The team at Heartland Pet Hospital go out of their way to take care of your pets, and treat them like their own family. They’ve been a blessing when dealing with major illnesses among our pets, helping us understand our options and going the extra mile to help get them healthy. I recommend them to anyone I know who has pets, whether they are looking for a new vet or not.

We took my best friend Yoshi, my Chow here. Everyone from the receptionists to the nurse and especially the doctor were just fantastic. I was very worried about Yoshi and they diagnosis him quickly and put my mind at easy. I would highly recommend Heartland Pet Hospital for you pet.

I have a semi feral cat that needed medical attention. The doctor and office did not hesitate to help Brewster. They were kind, considerate and professional. They kept me up to date during his few days stay and let me know everything they were doing for him.

Everyone was very friendly and made Sammy and I feel comfortable. Hearing and seeing the way they were with Sammy while he was very sick helped ease my fears. I'm very grateful for their care!

Dr Katie Vandenhull is the best vet in Omaha. I have used many vets over my 30 years of being a dog owner. Dr Vandenhull is smart, caring, compassionate and also has a super fun personality! I also have a chronically sick pup and she is very thorough in her care. I travel 30 minutes to see her and I’d travel further if need be.

They took great care of my dog when she needed x-rays. Went beyond just getting X-rays. My dog needed sedation. They were kind and caring. They trimmed my dogs nails. It’s been difficult due to her guarding her paw. I was impressed with all of the staff.

We were also lucky to find a wonderful vet office when we moved here to Papillion. We saw Dr. Susan the most and she was so knowledgeable and helpful with our boy Kingsley. Sam up front was great along with each and everyone else that works there. I’ve had a lot of experience with Vets and they are top notch. Thank you to all of you for your love and attention to our boy.

From the first call to after the follow up appointment the entire staff was wonderful to work with. They were caring, understanding and knowledgeable. Thanks to Heartland Pet Hospital my boxer is well on her way to feeling her best! Thank you!

Everyone was super friendly! They got my pup in same day for some jarring symptoms and they put my mind at ease knowing I was going to get him checked out. The vet was super friendly and everyone looked to be enjoying their work. Makes me want to switch from my current vet to them full time! (and I’m going to, for our newest puppy!)
