Heartland Pet Hospital

My little guy, Ash, went here for over 16 years. He was always given the best care, and always received loving attention from all the staff. I would NEVER use any other vet.

We love Dr. Vanden Hull. She is so smart, capable, and friendly. We actually followed her to this pet hospital when she moved from her last, because she's the best. One of our cats suffers from a rare condition; he was very very sick when we rescued him. Thanks to Dr. VH's care and her referrals to specialists, we were able to get a diagnosis and treatment plan. He's a healthy, happy boy now. As long as we're in Omaha, we won't take our cats to anyone else.

Great vets. They truly care about your pet. Dr.Susan went above and beyond to help my baby cat. Will always be grateful for what they did.

Yesterday was my first visit to Heartland vet clinic. It has separate entrances for dogs and cats. Very clean and reasonably priced. We saw Dr. Nick, he was kind, compassionate and very gentle with my dog. I would highly recommend this place.

Always a happy experience with Heartland. I have been taking my cat Jiji here since he was a kitten. My cat has terrible vet anxiety and they have always made sure he can be as comfortable as he can. He does not like strangers but every Vet staff has been very kind and patient. Each vet tech I've encountered has been very knowledgeable answering any question I've had thoroughly. I have moved around Omaha but will continue to make the travel for Papillion Heartland. I would definitely recommend to friends/family

I took my yorkie there to get his teeth checked and the doctor their was so wonderful and pleasant to work with. She provided such helpful information and made sure all of our needs were met! Then shortly after our appt we received a sweet welcome card specifically written for our dog which was really nice and made it more personable! We know we chose the right place for our dog!

I absolutely love the owners and staff at both locations of Heartland Pet Hospital. They're always responsive, reliable, empathetic, professional and all around just good people. I've had both routine yearly visits for all my furbabies, as well as emergency/urgent visits. The Heartland team have collaboratively found time in their busy schedules to squeeze me in for last minute appointments without fail, and their professionalism and positive attitude never faulters. They have the biggest hearts for the wellness and happiness of all animals, and it truly shows. They treat and care for my furbabies as if they were their own, which I have personally found very hard to find at other vets. The clinics are owned and operated by a married couple, both experienced veterinarians, who share their passion for animals with each other and their team. If you want a permanent/long-term family vet, I absolutely, whole-heartedly recommend Heartland Pet Hospital. I wish I had taken some creative writing classes in my life to give a better glowing review than the above. I cannot express enough how amazing this team is. Thank you for all that you do. ❤️

Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and helpful. I was brought into an exam room almost immediately, instead of having to wait in a waiting room for 15+ minutes like I've had to at other clinics, and the vet came in shortly after. Dr. Leslie Tucker provided a lot of great information that I could use. Fastest and most pleasant vet appointment I've had in a long time.

I called on a Friday afternoon frantic about my senior cat. Being new to the area I did not have a vet yet. Heartland was able to get me in even though it was late and they stayed late to provide amazing care. Dr. Susan was very thorough, gentle, sweet and patient with my old girl. I do not have words for how grateful I am for the excellent care she and her team provided.

Great Veterinary practice! My 8 year old Golden had oral surgery. Dr. Susan is the very best! Not only does she diagnose & help our 4 legged family members she cares deeply about every one of them. Crystal, Sam, & many other employees who I don't know their names are great at their jobs! They truly care!
