If I could give this gym negative stars I would. My girlfriend and I joined the gym last February.on a year membership The originally told us it was going to be $58 plus $20 for me. Then when I got my bill it was $116. When I called they said you were told it's be $58 for each of you. That's not what the person told me. I have a card that they gave me that shows that but it's not in the contract. Then they plug getting your free personal trainer evaluation. All I wanted to do is show us how to use some of the Nautilus equipment. They don't do that, they design a specific exercise program for you. They kept talking about "investment". When they mentioned the price it would be over $1K a month EACH.On top of the supplements they want us to purchase from them. Then it got to $800, then $500 (,of course less service). No. But isn't an investment in your health. Then my schedule changed and I couldn't get to the classes that I wanted. I could write a whole bunch more just suffice to say A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY....

Nice locker rooms but the rest of the gym leaves a lot to desire. Much of the equipment seems dated and falling apart. For some reason there only seems to be 3 pairs of collars for the entire weight room; I would recommend bringing your own if you want to lift safely. The squat bar I used was visibly bowing in the middle and desperate need of replacement. Weights are scattered around with no great system or desire to organize them. Those simple fixes would make for a much better experience, but other reviews seem to say the same things with no resolution. Likely won’t come back here even though it is very close to my work. Would rather drive to another location with better maintenance.

My wife and I have been going to this gym far before Genesis purchased it from 24 Hour Fitness. We severely miss the management of 24 hour fitness. The management at his location can't do the simple courtesy of clearing their parking lot or sidewalks after snow storms. As you can imagine, after navigating your way through the slush covered parking lot, you get to work out with stained water soaked shoes, not to mention the entry way, and cardio equipment gets a heavy layer of slushy road grim. When we asked the front desk about clearing the parking lot, they said they don't even have anyone on file to call. In addition many of the weights smell like death/decay, from which i can only assume if from a lack of cleaning. I gave an extra star as they have a couple newer pieces of equipment we like...

Kim Is a great Instructor in water arabics. She's fun and keeps us all moving with the greatest music. I feel energize after her class. She makes exercising fun!

$45/month on a 2 year contract with a $100 cancellation fee for a gym that is average at best. Save your money and time, there are better places in town. Also, went in to cancel because I moved and they won’t cancel it without a membership rep. Pick which way you want it, either allow people to cancel online (which only makes sense since you can sign up online), or allow the check-in rep to have me sign a piece of paper and cancel. Very sleezy. I blame myself too for leaving my other gym

I don't understand what is going on with genesis. I have had 5 trainers and none of them last long enough to let me have multiple sessions with them. I am so fed up with this gym. I thought trainers last more than a month.

Pretty good workout this evening. This location has the best hot tub. Men and women share this kindly. Also, the steam room and sauna work and are shared as well. I will add a picture later.

Seems like a reoccurring theme with terrible customer service my wife canceled the membership, I was charged for 3 months following us canceling. I called the location and informed them of this. I have asked for a refund and they have given me the same run around as some of the other reviews I have read. I have even tried to reach out to the corporate number and they "take note" of what is going on but no resolution. I have been in contact with Matt multiple time and cooperate has even tried to reach out with no result. I will never refer this gym to anyone due to their terrible customer service.

Just started going again at Genesis Health Club last week. Impressed with the friendliest and professionalism. Took a full tour of the facility, it was very clean.Tyler was my first trainer he was very knowledgeable learned a lot about the variety of equipment. Miket will be my trainer, was very helpful. Great place to work out! I give the entire staff a ten! Highly recommend this club!

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before joining. This place has terrible customer service when trying to cancel a membership. I left the state in a haste to become a caretaker for a family member. After realizing I forgot to cancel my membership, I called the location and informed them of this. They have been giving me the run around for three months citing a “manager will call [me] back.” It’s very sickening that I am being charged monthly for this with no information from the staff. Simple communication would be great. Earlier this year, a fitness manager named Aaron texted me at 3:55am to cancel our first session that was scheduled at 7/7:30am. I was totally understanding & respected that he had a family emergency. It’s upsetting that the same courtesy isn’t extended to their members. I am putting a stop payment at the bank and moving on. I will never refer this gym to anyone due to their poor customer service.
