Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center

Horrible. I am a Diamond member and have had excellent stays with other Embassy Suites around the country and this was the worst. Masking tape on the turnstile door was a horrible welcome. Stains on the carpet. Dusty furniture and appliances. This particular weekend they had a rambunctious youth sports team they couldn’t/wouldn’t control to the detriment of the other guests. When I called the front desk, they acknowledged the rowdy unsupervised children/teens but informed me “curfew” wasn’t until 11pm. Even the bartender appeared frustrated as he excused himself, leaned across us, and sternly asked the kids to stop running barefoot and shirtless through the area. It was just a horrible experience. They need to maintain the same standards regardless of their clientele. I paid for a hotel, not a weekend at Chuck E. Cheese. If adult guests behaved in this manner—yelling from one level up to another level in front of other people’s doors—security would have intervened; why permit boys to takeover an entire hotel and pretend their actions are acceptable? What a horrible experience. After driving 20 hours, this is not what I expect.

I have stayed at this property a number of times and sometimes it is great and sometimes average (or worse). This hotel is just odd compared to other Embassy Suites and Hilton properties. There is a lack of consistency. It is a nice property that seems to be fairly well cared for. The staff are generally helpful but the front desk is very hit or miss. They also started charging for parking. Perhaps they felt this was necessary but it seems tacky in this area. My company pays for the parking fee but if it was just me I would either chance it or park at Cabela's after unloading my luggage. Maybe I am just cheap.

I was very impressed with the room. It was cleaned and it also had a surprised sofa bed in the living room part of the room. I wish they had a microwave. The pool was great. And the amenities available to the customers with outstanding. And I would definitely be a returning customer. From A to Z it was very pleasant and comforting experience. A little on the pricey side but it was worth it! I will return.

Love the event center. Very large. We come once a year for a work event. Food is 50/50. Overall a very nice space.

Food in restaurant was poor,food at breakfast buffet was far worse than we have had at other Embassy Suites. Room was excellent, staff especially in restaurant were extremely accommodating, probably at 3.5 stay

We were made aware of a $10 fee for parking upon our arrival. We were told that all Hilton properties were requiring this payment which I know to be untrue. On Tuesday evening during our stay there wasn't a parking space in the lot open due to an event at the convention center. Parking was difficult and inconvenient. The fee for parking then seemed a bit petty. Include the fee in the price of the room , allow one car per reservation and inform guests of upcoming convention center activities that may impact availability.

Service that I have come to expect at a Hilton property does not exist at the LaVista Embassy Suites. We planned a 2 night weekend stay to relax and unwind. It is only 10 minutes from our home. We were greeted as we pulled up with a sign that said parking permit required or you will be towed. We purchased parking. Noticed a lot of vehicles did not have permits on the dash. No one got towed. The internet was down and they did not have anyone that could look at it on a Saturday. All they said was "sorry". We had to return to our home to do the things we planned to do from our room. We used to like staying here. Never again.

Just not impressed with the room. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room itself is like a 1970s time warp. Had better rooms at motel 6. Every thing else is fine.

Previously very good experience at this hotel-this time they had someone buffing the floors during the entire reception. Very loud and hard to socialize. As much as they charge for rooms, I feel buffing of floors or any other loud, disruptive cleaning could be scheduled during a time when guests are not gathering in the reception area. Very inconsiderate of management!

I am a bit biased but the room was perfect for me. The hotel staff Allen and Parker were quick to respond to request and get back to me when using my app to make request. Since I was there one night I didn't get to enjoy their breakfast as I had to leave before it opened I will definitely choose this clean and friendly place.
