Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center

If you're looking for a wedding venue, DO NOT book with this place. They quoted us an amount we could work with and repeatedly upped their pricing in different ways. They had a 25% service fee that was never discussed until after we put down a deposit and booked with them and it was on every single thing. It was added to the room rental, the catering, and the bar. Not just one 25% flat fee on everything. They also were extremely hard to coordinate with for months. I tried emailing and calling multiple times and it took forever to get my meeting with them for plans and a meal tasting. On the day of my wedding, there was no one available to help us set up or tell us what was going on. So we just had to fend for ourselves. We had lots of family coming from out of town that stayed the whole weekend as well. With all of the money that we brought to their business, I would've expected more professionalism and understanding. On top of all that, after the wedding and everything was done and our final bill was paid, they sent another bill that needed paid. I am extremely disappointed in the professionalism and all of the extra charges that were never discussed beforehand.

I have stayed there before but I was there this time to drop my daughter off to work a banquet. It is beautiful inside and conveniently located

Took grandkids to SAC Museum and Omaha Zoo. Hotel is perfectly located. Nice suites, great pool for kids after dinner. Terrific breakfast.

I stayed for a conference and they accommodated everyone so well!! My room was nice and there were no concerns!! I would highly recommend staying here!!!

Construction going on next to hotel. Word to the wise, they start really early! Convenient location for road racing to run all night, every night. Then there is the fireworks that go off when baseball game is over.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Their customer service is top notch and the complimentary breakfast is made to order with plenty of options. My family will definitely be back again.

Excellent Hotel that has a great location in LaVista/Omaha. Long drive if you are intending to go down town/Old Market. Service was excellent and we had an amazing view. Would definitely go back again.

Want to stay at a clean decent hotel and you end up with less than par room that wasn't even the room you chose when booking. Cleanliness was sub par, floor was dirty bathroom was sticky and room had bad oder, soap in bathroom was leftover from prior guest. Room had old decor, warn out furniture and carpet also had a barely working closet door. This definitely ruined us from ever wanting to come back to Embassy Suits.

Staying at this Embassy Suites was an interesting experience. The day before my arrival, I was asked to pick a room and say what time it would be available. I have done this many times as a Hilton Honor member, therefore I was expecting this to be without any issues. Upon arrival the next day, I was told that my room was not ready at 4pm. And they would call me later when the room was available. However, we got a call later saying that they are booked out and there are no king room availble. It would have been more believable if the hotel parking was not only ~25% full. On top of this experience, my in-laws room had no working air conditioning. As we are at the front desk wondering how this was possible.... they claim "oh..someone JUST cancelled and we now have a king room". This was a little odd to add to the list. However, my in-laws with he broken a/c? Oh... they had no problems finding them another room with a king bed. Was the A/C working on this lovely 95+ degree weather? No. We tried to talk to the supervisor and managers etc.. some cared, others did try to help, but, some did not care at all. they responded by offering us individual fans and refused to compensate us at another hotel with working a/c. So what happened? It sounds like the a/c has been broken for a week or two prior to this visit, but whoever in charge did not want to fix it. Also, this hotel is nowhere near booked to capacity, it was more like 30%. Their solution was to cool the a/c vents with water instead of paying a professional to fix it and/or to replace the one of the units. After hearing this, my in-laws was able to get in contact with someone very high up in Embassy to give them an update on what is going on. Whether it is a coincidence or not, but the next morning, the a/c was fixed and working properly. Not sure if the giant semi truck parked in the back had anything to do with this event or not. Overall, the rooms feel old, but they were clean. Floor was a little damp which may or may not be in relation to their temporarily solution to "fixing" the a/c for the past two weeks. There are a lot of nice and friendly employees especially the bartenders, but there several condescending and rude ones working here. Would I be back in the future? It is very iffy based on this experience.
