Cottonwood Pet Resort

Fantastic facility. After taking my dogs to another place at 160th and Maple that was terrible, I was relieved to find Cottonwood. It is a bit out of the way to drive to, but the prices and amenities are well worth it. At the last place I went my dogs were returned to me smelling like farm animals AND WAS MORE EXPENSIVE. Here, they smelled a little bit doggie, but that faded after a day, without even having to bathe them. They have a free daycare for pets being boarded, and a webcam for you to watch, although I never saw my dogs on it, I'm sure our schedules just weren't aligning. This will be the only place I take my dogs from here on out. Thank you Cottonwood!!

Absolutely love the care that they give my dog when he stays there. it's great that they have tons of room for the animals, personal walks, and play areas. The staff are great and take care of the animals just like they are their own pets.

We love the place. They take really good care of our two GSD. They love the interaction with other dogs. Nice location.

Boarded my dogs here while on vacation. I had a perfect experience with this facility. Cottonwood took very good care of them. This will be the only place I will trust with my dogs while I’m out of town. Cottonwood is by Far better than the paw spa pet resort where my dogs came home injured and sick.

All of the staff are very friendly and your facilities are clean and wonderful. Your prices are very reasonable too. We will definitely be back again in the future.

I called cottonwood yesterday morning and left a message to discuss to my negative experience but did not receive a call back. The first time I brought my small dog to be groomed here was at the end of last year. I brought her again after restrictions started loosening regarding the coranavirus. My dog was matted, thought not badly. In february she had had to stay at a friends farm, after rolling in cow and chicken ppop, they had to bathe her and were unaware she needed to be brushed first, thus she matted. When I got home and brought her home, we were quarantined for 14 days which I personally extended to 21. Once the quarantine was up, I rarely left the house for the next 2 months. When closures were eased, I quickly made an appointment for her to be groomed. On the call to make the appt and on the follow up call, I was not told cottonwoods building was essentially closed to customers and a worker would come out to my car to get my dog. I didnt like the lack of communication but proceeded to leave my dog after being scolded for attempting entry and brushed the lack of communication off. When i picked her up a few hours later, i was charged extra for her mats was admonished for not "brushing her daily" (though I do) and was told she needs to be groomed every two months (apparently even during a pandemic). I felt judged, dismissed, ignored and put down. Then, I bring her home, and she caught ear mites there. Gross. Again, I tried to call and discuss this with someone, but they didnt bother to return my calls. I tried to support a local business, but apparently they didnt want my support and they lost what could have been a lifetime customer. Back to pet smart where my dog has always had a good experience.

These people are terrific! Was running late and they made a one time exception to wait for us. It was extremely awesome and appreciate them for doing tgis. They took very good care of our dog by bathing him, supplying food and treats and gave him plenty of time to run outside. Highly recommended this facility to care for your family pet!

Love Cottonwood! My 3 dogs have been going here for daycare and boarding when I need to send them for 5 years. They come home happy and tired.

We used to go to PetSmart for our grooming needs, but they weren't being accommodating towards our needs regarding COVID-19. I'm a high risk individual for the virus, and they weren't practicing social distancing nor were they requiring masks. This is a total 180 from the experience we had at Cottoonwood. I explained our situation to the staff, and they were incredibly understanding and were more than happy to accept payment over the phone, and do carside pickup for our appointment. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that the cost was cheaper than expected too, while receiving a high quality service. Both of our girls are looking so prim and proper now! Even though Cottonwood is a 40 minute drive from our home vs. PetSmart being 10 I can safely say that we look forward to continuing our business with Cottonwood instead. Thanks to the entire staff for being mindful and accommodating to all of your clients. Your actions speak volumes to your values. :)

Would not recommend this place for grooming. First time we had our Golden Retriever groomed they completely butchered his hair cut. Giving them the benefit of the doubt we tried going back, scheduling an appointment 3 weeks in advance only to be told "We don't even have you in our system." Despite A. Having been there for a previous grooming and B. Scheduling an appointment 3 weeks in advance. Told it is up to the groomers if they can work him in and they are extremely busy. Completely unhelpful and unapologetic for their error.
