Clothes Hamper Laundromat & Dry Cleaner/Drop Off Services

Stay away! The place is filthy and the building is in need of repairs. Not sure how you can get your clothes clean in such filth. Be careful if you run into any issues, employees can't help and refer you to the owner who will nickle and dime you to death and not follow thru on his word.

Warm and clean laundromat. All machines in good working condition. Prices are good too.

There is a good selection of washers and dryers; the place has enough seating and the usual selection of reading material. The free WiFi is a bonus. The washing costs $1.75 per load + extra quarters for hot water and heavy duty cycles (as of 09/2019); the large driers cost $1.25 per load - no option to pay in 5 minutes increments.

My dryer quit working the week of my daughter's graduation party. Plus, last winter we moved to a new house. This means that everyone that came to the graduation party wanted to see the whole house. We had some a large amount laundry to get done. I googled laundromats near me. The Clothes Hamper along with other came up. After reading the reviews I choose The Clothes Hamper. I'm so glad I did. I hadn't used a laundromat in years. Amanda and Jessica were so helpful. Walking be through the whole process. I forgot half my laundry that when I called and asked, they had put it aside so I could pick it up the next day. I was so impressed with how helpful they were I finally asked if they were the owners. They are not but the owner should be very happy with the quality and owners for the business these two have for his company.

**Updated follow up at the bottom** Bring your items elsewhere!! This place damaged my very expensive comforter by bleaching out the linen on it turning Grey to yellow. The owner dragged his feet in acknowledging what they would do to remedy. Finally, when I asked for a refund for what happened, he told me it was provided via my credit card after he gave not only me, but my husband attitude. When I noticed that in fact did NOT happen, I disputed it with my credit card. The owner then fought the dispute attempting to keep the fee in spite of them not providing me with a completed service I paid for. The owner here has a terrible personality and customer service ethics. There are far too many choices to pick from than to bring it to this awful place. **Edit -- the credit card company provided me the details showing you did in fact, dispute the reimbursement you claim you gave me. If I need to post the picture of this to prove that your statement is not true, I'm glad to do so.**

Very dark parking lot, I did not feel safe walking to and from. Some machines in spots that make it very cramped if anyone else is using ones nearby.

HalaluYaHUaH the cleanest and most welcoming atmosphere I have ever seen at a laundromat! I am really impressed . Candy (the owner) is kind and offered her help with joy and sincerity . Overall the prices are cheap and they have comfortable seating , free WiFi and access to outlets if you need. Also there are vending machines and a clean bathroom ! You can’t beat this laundromat I guarantee it ! Stop by sometime. HalaluYaHUaH

This place is horrible. No stars should be an option! I had multiple loads of laundry so I started 3 washers in a row. Load #1 laundry still had soap on it. I deposited another $3.00 to wash them but no soap this time since they still had soap on them. After 2nd wash they still have soap on them. Washer load #2 destroyed my comforter, it somehow sucked the corner of my comforter between the drum and the machine and tore the corner of it off. $75.00 comforter had to be thrown away. I won’t waste anyones time with the 3rd load. It wasn’t any better. Go somewhere else and save your time and money!

Place appears to be well taken care of and doesn't look as "seedy" as some laundry matts I've been in. There were plenty of machines for the amount of people that were in and out during the time I was there. The machines looked to be well taken care of although there were a few that were broken (but clearly marked). They have a nice range of machines for larger loads and actual on site laundry services so there are actual employees of the establishment there. They have tables used for folding. We washed and dried a sleeping bag. Took a few drying cycles to get it dried so I'd recommend, with larger items, you bring more quarters then you think you will need. Overall a positive experience.

I’m honestly surprised at the number of great reviews for this place. I am new to Omaha and my new washer/dryer haven’t been delivered yet so I went off reviews to find a laundromat. Granted it has been a few years since I’ve used a laundromat, but this place is EXPENSIVE. Especially because there is mold and mildew growing in soap dispensers and around door seals. The fans are completely caked in dust, someone appears to be using the sofa as a bed, the attendant was using approximately half the dryers while there were 4 customers present, leaving us to wait and take turns. There was also more than one machine marked as out of order. I will find a different laundromat until I get my new set delivered.
