Blue Moon Fitness - Bellevue

I use to work out at the 108th and Q location really liked it. Took a tour of this location until they told me the membership fee to start was 100 so unfortunately going back to planet fitness.

I recently got a VIP membership at Blue Moon and I am not disappointed. There is a cardio theater, massage chairs, your typical gym setup and the opportunity to meet with one of their personal trainers. Plus, with the VIP membership, you get to bring a guest for free - perfect for couples who want to work out together!

Good gym for the price for sure. Sadly there is no where to really deadlift (besides a machine that goes up to only 200 pounds) or do rows. The dumbbells also only go up to 50 pounds. Everything else is decent. I wish there were more squat racks and benches as well, but honestly for $10 it's pretty good deal. Edit from a year later: they added a spot to deadlift, but it costs extra and is unusable when classes are going on.

Nice facility. If you want to cancel membership and close your account what a ripoff. I cancelled my membership back in November, 2014 and they charge me another $10 for December and $10 for January plus $10.70 fee, because they could not locate my paperwork saying "that they had closed my account and cancelled my membership back in November". Customer Service is definitely lacking here, I don't recommend it. If you choose to join, I would setup your membership by cash or prepay credit card (you can control it). Never had this much trouble at 24-hour fitness and only reason I joined Blue Moon, because it was closer to my home at the time than 24-hour fitness.

Cancelled my membership in October, but it wasn't processed. So I went back in to cancel in November. Since then I have been charged an annual fee and biweekly fees three times. To make it even better, no one gets back to you when you file a claim.

Too many fees... I had to pay a $50 fee for cancelling my membership because I didn’t have it for a year and I had to pay a $40 fee for an annual fee. When I only had my membership for a couple months. They’re gym isn't even nice and its small... I’d recommend another gym. Dont waste your money here!

Good gym for the price. Serious gym rats might not like it because of the limited free-weight equipment and some of the silly rules. If you go in the morning, you shouldn't have any trouble though. Good atmosphere and very affordable.

A great, well-managed club. Consciously practices and enforces safety measures to keep their customers safe during the COVID pandemic. It's a rare when you find a piece of equipment requiring repair. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Blue Moon fitness has been the best experience for me and I'm sure others agree. The staff are friendly and always greet. The equipment is usable and when there is a problem the employees look into it right away, I would recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for the perfect experience and motivation!

So far it's a decent gym. For the price, I definitely recommend it! Nice environment and staff is pretty nice. Only complaints are the occasional members taking up equipment cause they're busy wasting time on their phone, but there's almost always another station open that'll do the job.
