The new management compared to the previous is poor. A couple of the new staff are kind and always help guests with a warm attitude but there are also a few that have unprofessional attitudes. Moving on from the staff and to the hotel itself and the rooms.. This specific location used to have a glow to it, all staff were nice and willing to help out guests if they needed anything, rooms were always spotless clean and hallways were kept tidy. I notice now that it has completely changed.. when I checked in, the hotel room had old wrappers from previous guests, towel rack torn from wall, cigarette burns on property, floors were dirty and sticky, headboard had 2 sweaty handprints on it. Hygiene is poor. Sheets are stained

our room was clean, halls kind of not so clean. price seemed very reasonable. around $70 a night. the big plus for us was Dog Friendly. my sons husky stayed free where other motels were charging $20 on up per night for pet.

This place is a dump and shouldn’t even be open to the public. I can’t believe you actually charge people to stay here. The rooms are raggedy and whatever “renovation” was done was very low budget. The room I had was not very clean and the bed was uncomfortable. Lamps and outlets didn’t work, carpet was stained, paint and caulking was not cleaned up and the shower/tub was unsafe. The halls had carpet lifting and I saw trip hazards everywhere. Entrances/exits were propped open very often. No security was on site and it needs to be. The breakfast consisted of stale bread, cheap pastries and boiled eggs that looked and smelled several days old. When I asked staff anything, they acted very confused. Also, staff needs to wear uniforms and identify who they are. A guy came to my door saying he was with housekeeping and just had street clothes on. Even though I verified he actually worked there, I didn’t let him in because he could’ve been anyone. LaQuinta used to have nice properties. This place needs to quit giving canned responses to these online reviews and step it up!

As soon as we pulled into the parking lot I had a bad feeling about this place. There were sketchy people hanging out everywhere. We checked in and walked into the door to our building and instantly it reeked of dog urine. There was a rusty heat vent in the hallway, and when we entered our room I was shocked to see the room was one big OSHA violation. The TV was cracked and appeared to be operational but wouldn’t turn on, we thought maybe the batteries for the remote needed to be changed and when we tried the remote was so warped we couldn’t get the back open to replace batteries. We noticed the tv chords were wrapped in electrical tape. There were wires randomly hanging in multiple places in the room and there were missing outlet covers and wires exposed. We tried to sleep for an hour and heard doors slamming non-stop and dogs barking constantly. We booked a new hotel and luckily got a refund. Don’t stay here.

Average place. Service was good but not awesome. Smelt paint while going up stairs to room. Their breakfast was nothing to crow about. Bed was what I'd call medium firm. Not hard or soft. They had a good security system and let me park the moving truck in a spot where I could watch it. (See monitor picture with cam pictures) Night time was brightly lit. The service and price saved this from a 2 star rating.

For the price it was a decent hotel. Layout was weird, very maze like. It was in the middle of a remodel. The rooms and outside looked good. The hallways definitely need that update too so they can match. Overall a good hotel to stay at. Nearby food options were decent. La Mesa was a standard Mexican restaurant, Runzas was a unique place, and the ice cream shop in the Subway was also good.

The hotel was being remodeled. The bed was super comfortable. I had a great room for the price. I believe the price was lower due to the construction. It was still appearing to be under renovation. The bathroom was out of place to the nicely remodeled room. Overall for the price I would recommend it. There is a nice little restaurant bar next door that was fun.

Rooms and hallways smelt like cigarettes and we not clean. Floor wasn’t even swept when we arrived and the bedspreads has a lot of dirt on it so we had to ask several times for new comforters and blankets. Not to mention there was a dead roach in the unswept floor and found a live roach later on in the night. A lot of stuff needs maintenance in the rooms. Toilet paper holder was barely holding on along with the towel holder by the sink. Would not recommend this place for someone to stay. Oh, and for breakfast some yogurt was expired yet they still tried to serve it. Very dissatisfied with this hotel because of how dirty it was.

I stayed here several times in 2022 and previous years and each time have been happy with my stay. The price is fair, the location works well for me, and my room has been clean and comfortable. During one recent stay they were installing new TVs, decor, mattresses. Towels and bedspreads are clean and also seem to be new. Continental style breakfast is fine for me with more than enough to choose from. WiFi is strong and reliable. Parking is sufficient. The staff is helpful and if an issue comes up, they resolve it. Even with the ongoing renovations and some cosmetic improvements still underway, I'll give it a 5. I would stay here again.

Run away. Don’t make the same mistake I did, thinking it’ll be fine for one night on the road. It’s not. Absolutely not. I feel like a dozen showers still isn’t enough to wash this place off of me. Everything smells. It lingers in the hallways, and they try to mask it with occasional air fresheners that only work for a few feet & just make it smell even worse. The towels had holes, stains, and an odd smell to them. I felt gross just touching them. The parking lot was covered in trash. Ice machine looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, ever. Fridge had items left in it from previous guests, so you know house keeping did a thorough job. What else didn’t they check or change? I hate to call people incompetent but the staff I dealt with had extremely poor communication skills, and did not seem to know what they were doing nor what was happening. I had to ask them to do their job. How else can I get in the building if you don’t give me a room key? You have signs everywhere threatening to tow cars without a proper hotel tag, and I had to ask 3x to get one. The shower is ancient, and I had to spend 5 minutes trying to turn off the faucet because its so old the knob just spins without doing anything. Finally got the water to turn off, after nearly overflowing the tub, when I bruised my hand trying to shove the darn thing in while twisting. This hotel is falling apart, and trying to make it look nicer with cheap modern furniture doesn’t actually make it “nice”. This hotel gives Wyndham a bad name. I understand it’s a “budget” option, but when actual budget hotels are nicer than this one, you have a problem. I’m fair & honest, and rarely leave negative reviews but this place is sketchy, shoddy, shady, creepy, disgusting - whatever word you need to hear that will convince you NOT to stay here. Pay a few extra dollars and stay at the nicer hotels across the street. It’s worth it.
