Great Clips

I am shocked to see negative reviews here. My overall experience was superb!! Kandi was fantastic! Having had an already crazy busy day where it seemed nothing was going right for us, we waited of course until the last minute and decided to get my oldest daughters hair cut for the first day of school the next day. Literally attempted to get into 4 places all of which expressed they were not accepting walk-ins or expressed a level of inconvenience. Called Great Clips, to which they informed me of the wait time, but stated if I could get there before 9p, they could do it. They were very polite on the phone. Once I got there, they were clearly busy with only two employees. Again, very kind and patient, she put my daughter on the wait list. Not once did they display frustration, inconvenience, or irritability. They were professional, polite, and timely. Every child before us that left, left with super cute cuts from both employees. Being practically the last to have come in, my toddler was becoming restless and loud, but again, they remained patient with us. Kandi did a beautiful job on my daughters hair and I highly recommend her. Thank you so much for allowing us to come in last minute when nobody else would take us, for having outstanding customer service, and for doing such a great job. I checked in online, so not having to wait is the sole reason I am giving 2/5 instead of 1/5 stars. I told the stylist what I wanted and even showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted (which was pretty basic, I might add) What I got was one of the worst haircuts I have ever received, she spent 10, MAYBE 15 minutes max, and in the end my hair looked nothing like what I had in mind. Really the only way to fix it would have been to put a number 1 guard on the clippers and buzz it. I felt like she didn't really care what my hair looked like and just wanted to crank out another "haircut" to get me out of there. I probably will never go back to a "Great" Clips ever again, even if a different person cut my hair.

I just hair cut tonight and Linda was the only help. However, why I'm writing a review is the service Linda provided was amazing. She took time to make sure I was receiving a genuine haircut even though it was busy. I'll probably return for my next haircut.

Every time I give this store a chance they mess up my haircut! The stylists usually butcher my hair and truly never give me the style I ask for. Typically nobody is capable of barbering skills simple fades or doing a basic Mohawk. I never receive a friendly personable stylist. I had a coupon in my email I wanted to use but had to locate it. The guy today told me the price and rushed me to pay so he could get the next haircut started. Bad stylists and bad experiences for adult haircuts. It baffles me why the 108th and maple location is always busy. If you only want a basic haircut go here play hair roulette.

Brought my son here last night. He has had a rough couple weeks and wanted to go with a whole new hairdo. Great experience from the second we walked through the door. The lady that cut his hair was so upbeat and positive. There was another hairstylist there that was equally polite and fun to chat with as well. He left with a new haircut, smiles and feeling good. Thank you ladies. We will be back. I really wish I could remember there names.
