The staff is friendly and the people that are working out are nice. This gym has most of the equipment I want from a gym and then some, such as a heated pool, a dry sauna, a steam room, and a hot tub. This being so, other than the treadmill and stair steppers, they have no equipment for the gastrocnemius muscle, (also known as the calf of the leg). Genesis also needs to update their drinking fountains so it is easier to fill up water bottles with. I would give him a 5-star rating if they did not charge extra for the tennis court and if they brought in equipment to exercise your calves with. Other than a couple issues this is an excellent gym to workout at.

They will definitely keep charging you after you cancel your membership. This has happened 3 4 months now, and now there excuse is they didn't have an email for me. I'm beyond frustrated.

I've been coming to this genesis for a couple years now. We started coming here after being members at the YMCA and couldn't be happier with this place. I love the community, people are genuinely working on their health and goals, and I don't feel as self conscious as I did at other gyms. I used to actively avoid going to the gym and now it is one of the highlights of my day. I feel so accomplished! The staff are all friendly as well. The group class teachers are really good. I have been working with a personal trainer, which has been so helpful for my health, Gary is really great! This location has a lot of amenities that most gyms don't have, like a shared sauna, hot tub and steam room, not to mention the variety of open work out areas. The locker rooms are nice and open, but still feel very private for changing. I would recommend this gym location to anyone. It is worth the extra cost for this gym.

Hi, my name is Carter Czaplewski and I have been a member with you guys for about 11 years. Originally I signed up at 144th and F and was grandfathered into a rate of $33 a month. Had a problem with billing when you guys took over and got past that. Now that gym has been closed for some time and I utilize almost every location. Now I am told that I would have to upgrade and pay $72 or $75 a month to go to the Westroads location. I have been frustrated about this for some time considering I have been coming there for so long. I really would like to see what I can do in order to have access to the “premier” location. Being a long time member and getting past other mishaps I feel I should be able to be grandfathered or at least get a discounted rate. It doesn’t seem right to have to pay almost double for one location

I cancelled my membership months ago and now they are charging me even after the cancellation. None of the staff will call me back and their excuse was we been trying to email you when I have received any emails. Very rude manager she hung up the phone on me in the middle of the conversation and when I called back she wouldn’t pick up. Very disappointed! Will never go there again.

Staff does not return phone calls or emails and they stole credits from our account that we did not use.

Pretty nice gym, I do wish they had more of a stretch area. The cross fit area is always busy. Also they do have pretty great daycare at this location my boys always love going.

Nice looking facility and lots to do. Went to this location to take our daughter to the pool, and the gym had the pool closed for special Olympics practice which is fine except this wasn't posted anywhere. It wasn't listed online, on the pool door, in either locker room, and the front desk people didn't tell us when we asked about using the pool. When we came up and asked about it being closed they said, "oh yea that happens." Needless to say making my daughter cry made for a great experience.

I canceled my membership more than two months ago (I have the cancelation contract), but my CC is still being charged. Jerry will not call me back or respond to my emails to rectify the issue. When I have shown up in person, she is not there and no one seems to know how this can be resolved. I loved Genesis until this experience. 4 months in and my issue is still not resolved :(
