Norfolk Country Inn & Suites

Restaurant on site is great. Rooms are priced accordingly not amazing but not bad. The reason for the 2 start rating is the older lady that works front desk at night. She got very irritated that I even came in to extend my stay and she had to put her book down and stop eating. She got all huffy and was short and abrupt. Then she said they couldn’t give plastic wear because they were a month behind on back order, and what they had was all(like there is so many people requesting). I was going to get very vocal with her but the restaurant next door had someone in the hall that was able to get me some.

It does have a nice vibe. It has a good location on the major blvd.

Easy to locate

It was quiet

A nice clean room. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was excellent, very helpful. The motel is walking distance from many restaurants. Cute outside patio. I think the hotel is in need of a permanent maintenance person. Plumbing is not new. Could barely get the cold water to turn off in the shower. The outside areas look very dirty and unkempt. Needs regular power washing. Good price though. Outside just needs work.

Service is horrible I've been here 3 months and have asked to speak with management at least once a week. I have never seen or met anybody from management. My room was cleaned today 1st time in 15 days. It was nice to finally get clean towels and bedding. Every member of housekeeping I've met so far lives here with their families. I've seen them turn customers away because there were no clean rooms for them. This is the cheapest long term hotel in the area but I would not recommend anyone to ever stay here.

Switched rooms but this whole place smells like hording and cheap smokes, people checking in with grocery bags of junk, wandering around, clearly section 8 housing, i have seen a ton of hotels in my day and this is among the worst. Tiles falling off bath wall, no TP holder, no privacy sign.. I am concerned about my vehicle wish I had never checked in. This is my honest review. No hyperbole..

Not a good experience

I really enjoyed the price per commodities offered. There¿s an all offers a hard breakfast, exercise room, free Internet, and this is all at a great price.

Great place with a great hot breakfast. Service was friendly and prompt. The room could have been swept more carefully (under furniture), but otherwise was clean. Very affordable. We have already been repeat customers!
