Norfolk Country Inn & Suites

Great little place to stay, the room I stayed in was great, very updated and nice, and it looked to me like they were updating the rest of the rooms, . True the breakfast selection could have been better, but being a person that doesn't eat much breakfast it was fine. Pool what closed while I was there ( it was January), but it looked really nice with a cabana area near by, would love to see that in the summer. I was sad to see that the restaurant was closed, I hope it is open again soon. The staff was friendly and inviting. All in all I had a great stay, would for sure stay again.

Well that didn't goes as planned. After spending nearly 2months here on a wind project and had to swap rooms because the began to remodel the one we originally checked into #209, they moved us to #231 both smoking rooms. We leave for about a week and this morning I called to reserve a one night's stay in a smoking room. We get here and they gave us room #209..we get in the room and it's not completely done with the remodeling...it was literally missing the sink and countertop!! She "upgraded" us to another room no charge...but didn't tell us it was NON SMOKING...they didn't have any smoking left. We found another room somewhere else and returned the key and asked for a refund because its not we reserved a room for over 12hours ahead of time..called at 0902 am Saturday 2May2020.. we arrived 1950(9:50pm) that same day. This should not have happened. The manager better be able to refund our room in full Tomorrow before we have to leave town.

This is not a review for the hotel. It is a review for the new Indian restaurant in the hotel, Aroma Circuit. It was delicious! The owners are extremely nice and helpful. I have never had Indian food before and they suggested a few great dishes and made sure they new how much heat we could handle. We will go back!

Believe all the negative comments on here. All staff need to be replaced. Stop accepting new reservations if you can’t tend to existing guests. 5 employees out supposedly because of exposure to Covid but no notice sent to guests. Don’t bother asking to speak with owner, was told by Daniele that she guaranteed he would not contact me. Pay a little extra trust me. I should give 1 positive, really nice Indian Restaurant located in hotel.

Could be worse. Housekeeping was awful, cleaned our room once in a month (and that was only after we made them come back up and actually clean, not just leave towels) and came up twice, second time asking if I needed anything. Either they were coming up WAY to early in the morning (I sleep til 9:30 cause of my schedule) or they were lying about coming to clean our room. We’ve also been moved twice due to maintenance so that’s annoying. Overall you get what you pay for here, maybe a little less. Due to the owners immature and passive aggressive response, I’ll elaborate. I NEVER said we didn’t want housekeeping. One day I asked for them to come back in 10 minutes once we left and one day he asked if we needed anything (three days after he finally cleaned the room) so I told him just some towels and toilet paper . We haven’t had our privacy sign for over a week. When I asked about moving back to our old room a week after you moved our stuff without a single phone call to let us know, the manager said we could stay in that room the duration of our stay :) might wanna get your facts straight and be just a little more professional before responding in such a manner.

It is one of the worst places I've stayed. I travel for work and when I'm someplace working I'm there for at least a month. This time I was going to be at this location for 2 months. They put me in a room for my extended stay that was substandard there was no dresser or drawers of any kind. The cloth rack on the wall was small and falling off the wall. I'm a nonsmoker and they put me in a smoking room. I'm a disabled veteran with difficulty with my legs and they put me upstairs even after I requested downstairs. The staff is mixed as in you had 1 or 2 that seamed to take interest in what I had to say about the place, but for the most part it was an I don't care attitude. I found a much nicer place to stay down the road and its costing me about 120.00 less a week and the rooms are much nicer but smaller. I have advised the company I'm with to not put people at this place. It's just nasty.

I really didnt stay here , but only drove by the back. I thought you myself, wow it's the 1980s. They should REALLY think about giving that places good make over. Like I said, I didn't stay there, but my first impression was the outside.

Booked a King executive suite online, got to the hotel room and it was a basic room, door locks did not work, very undesirable smell and unfinished paint on the wall. We ended up going to a different hotel. Staff was nice and gave a refund.

I'm not quite sure if I want to describe my experience here cuz like I say it can always be worse but only thing I found an issue was it was not swept the vacuum well not dusted not cleaned the wooden desk the TV stand dresser even the phone was dusty and dirty the microwave I have to clean the coffee pot out the icebox is really nasty the curtains need washed like I say I really didn't want to describe my experience here but only thing I find issue with not worth the price services in the complimentaries and everything like that all put into that price this room wasn't worth it but only thing I was had was really she went was to clean another room maybe I should have to get a job here that's what I specialize in is organized in between this could use it the box springs are old I had to clean out the filters in the air condition cuz they was dirty I don't know if I want to erase this review or print it feel like I'm talking s*** about the place it might be a fine establishment just need the right workers to build it up
