Big Red Keno Norfolk

A little noisy here when it gets full. We had to wait quite a while for someone to seat us. The wait staff is good, but there's a constant turnover which tells me something. I like it that anyone will bring out your food, not just your waiter or waitress. Great portions with some healthy suggestions. I wish they gave more nutritional information. Prices are skyrocketing.

Very good food and always packed when I go here. The waitresses are phenomenal.

This is one of our favorite places in Norfolk. Good atmosphere. Lots of great menu items. Haven't had a bad meal

Our latest experience with Big Red was slightly disappointing. The mozzarella sticks we ordered as our appetizer was brought to us within a minute… We soon found out why. But into them and they were cold; my husband’s was still partially frozen! Our waitress apologized (not even her fault!) and went to get us a fresh order! We got those AFTER our entrees; thankfully the temperature of that was sufficient. Oh, the host seating guests was the most unemotional person I have ever seen. No smile, no “hello”, no “you’re welcome”. He looked like he hated being there; I don’t know how hard it is to seat people and wipe tables. Seemed like the upside to this visit was our waitress, Jasmine. She took very nice care of us and fixed any problem (the mozzarella sticks) we had! She was very attentive! Give her a raise!

My first time here & 1st impressions are very outdated place. The menu is way to long . The food is mediocre & salty.. the only plus is the 32oz beer to get my mind off the dingy place & food. It was cheap but I guess you get what you pay for!!

The first thing I asked the waitress was what mixed drinks do you have? She gave me an extreme attitude and said “I don’t know”. Ok that’s fine I’ll order a water. Next time she came to the table she said so rudely “do you want another waitress?” We said excuse me we just want to order some food. This waitress was the rudest most disrespectful waitress I’ve ever experienced. Her name was Grace. I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed in big red keno, I will never go anywhere besides Omaha again. This service was disgusting.

The food was okay Burger had a like a (au jus) flavor, hash browns were perfect. Waitress seemed a little uptight she seemed okay until we needed a couple minutes because we haven't been there for over 2 years. I definitely will go back. Thank you

Packed! We were a table of 9. I seriously don't know how they have so many tables in there. The poor waitresses. It was a real chore just trying to get to the bathroom. A little pricey. But everywhere is now. After a while it cleared out in there. Then it looked like a third world country. Wrappers, napkins, food, etc. On the floor. But beer and food came out quickly and was very good. I go every time I have a chance to. As I am from out of state but have family in the area. Again... So many tables that clean up of the floor would have been impossible. Kudos to the staff. Servers bartenders and cooks pulled it off without any problems. So I was going to give this a 4. But am going to change to a 5.
