My wife & I had ordered pies before (and they were delicious!) but had never dined in until tonight, and from the time we arrived till the time we left, our dining experience was top notch! Everyone was very friendly, like they knew us, our server, Jessica, was very friendly and so helpful! We ordered fries as an appetizer, and not only were they brought out in a flash, it was a very generous portion. They were fresh, hot, crispy, and just plain delicious! This may not seem like a big deal to some, but you would be surprised at how many restaurants do not do fries well, so it's kind of a big thing to us. Our meals arrived at just the right time, hot, plentiful, and with the home cooked taste we had expected. With there very reasonable prices, nostalgic decor, friendly people, and down home style cuisine, we plan on making the 60 mile trip from our home to your front door more often! Good basic comfort-type food; menu and service good but a bit on the tired side of the scale. Great, huge selection of pies made daily on premises and available by the slice or whole pies. Huge variety of delicious pies is the reason for 4 stars.

We were just passing through town when we stopped by for an early lunch. The restaurant was packed and the staff was busy but we were seated and served fairly quickly. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. It's worth a stop.

It's not a fancy restaurant. The food was good and the staff very pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately I had to use the men's room while there and it stunk badly of urine. The room across the hallway had an open doorway and I could see their monster cinnamon rolls rising under plastic wrap. Not a pleasant thing so close to a stinky men's room. I didn't want to leave a bad comment like this but felt that something needed to be said.

Thoroughly enjoy the staff. The food is wonderful the proportions are generous.

First of all, I don't like breakfast food or pie. BUT their omelettes with hash browns are phenomenal! I decided to try their pumpkin pie and I'm pretty sure it changed my life. The staff was perfect, super friendly, and were very engaging customers. I will come back to try other meals and pies.

I had the hot roast beef. The food was very good. Large portions. Top ten best in the city.
