Buzzard Billy's

Horrible service, waiter was rude. My daughter ordered hot chocolate and I ordered hot tea. The waiter spilt both cups just bringing them to the table, when asked for a refill she said it would be a charge for another hot cup of water and a Nestea bag. Told her, we’re Good on the refill but a couple glasses of water please. 15 mins later, I just walked to the bar to get our water while the waiter talked to her co workers the whole time. The bar tender looked at her with a raw eye. When it came time to leave we waited at the front because she never came bk to the table. To top it off she snatched the pay machine out my hand when I tried to leave a comment about the service. I even even tipped her 22% thinking maybe just having a bad day. Nope, she was just very rude. Won’t eat here again

Perfect date night. Great food and even a surprise visit from the UNL band before game day. Experienced it for the first time and I loved it all. Good food, atmosphere was spot on and service was amazing!

First time here and it was OK not great. Gumbo was more of a paste than soup, tiny pieces of shrimp, very little sausage and didn't have much spice. Shrimp poboy was good but, took the fried shrimp frim half the sandwich and put it in the gumbo so i had some decent shrimp in it. Red beans and rice were good, the wife liked her fried shrimp pretty well. Overall not horrible but, far from authentic cajun, pretty bland and no spice what so ever. Wouldn't go there again by any means. Make better Cajun at home!

Good wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. Alfredo didn't really have enough sauce. Bread was brushed with rancid oil. Armadillo eggs were dry. We'll give them another chance but it won't be right away.

My son loves the steak and shrimp there and I always get the chicken czarina. Their cream corn is SO GOOD!!! I've always has speedy and nice service!

Stayed in the Haymarket area. Had dinner at Billy’s. Had good Cajun food and nice selection of food choices. I loved my Bayou platter. My friend had a quesadillaburger that she loved. Good selection of beer including some local craft beers. Finished the meal with bread pudding. We will be back. The atmosphere is fun too, so much to look at with great stuff hanging on the walls. Service was good too. They were also practicing covid safety.

Ate breakfast there on a Saturday morning. Service is hit or miss. My waiter wasn't very attentive while the waitress nearby asked her table many times if they were ok. Her table got seated and served food after I had been seated. I had to get up to ask for another cup of coffee and then didn't get helped again until after I was done with my food. The waiter stuffed my silverware in his front jean pocket as he came to my table also. I wanted to move to another section. The "giant" breakfast burrito was anything but giant.
