Angus Burgers & Shakes

Amazing burgers and shakes. Service was so so. Waitress didn’t get our orders right, but we were seated and served right away.

Overpriced for a small burger @ $13 , burger only, you want fries? That’s another $2-$4 extra. Ordered the street corn burger host didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked and took my plate before I was finished. Felt like I was being rushed to finish. This place basically has a captive customer as it’s next to 2 motels off i80. Was there at lunch time midweek and virtually empty

I got takeout from here while traveling. It was great! I got the rancher burger and a churro shake. Both were delicious. The order was made super fast and they were really nice. I would totally come back again when in the area and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great burger.

Fast excellent food. JJ was on point great server. You will not be disappointed in these burgers.

Seriously one of the best burgers I have had in a long time and I was super impressed with the kids meals!

I specifically asked waiter if onion rings were freshly made and if they were beer battered. He said yes to both. Wrong. Onion rings are frozen and taste like it and were cooked too much. Very disappointed with sides for a burger place that charges a good price for sides. Burger good. Waiter brought our ticket before we were even ready to leave. He. NEVER asked if we wanted a 2nd drink or anything. We wanted to order a shake with rum (as menu says we can), but they were out of rum!!!! Husband wanted one of their specialty drinks but they were out of brandy for it. Very disappointing experience. I wanted a 2nd drink, too, but it was never offered.

Yes, they have a gluten free menu! And a dedicated gf fryer. And gf buns. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about celiac. Street corn burger was really good. Sweet potato tots also delish. Burgers were definitely pink but tasty. Mango milkshake was great. Mango lemonade: yuck. (Photo of food is gf.) Overall, pretty darn good, would come again.

My son and I walked to Angus Burgers and Shakes and were delightfully surprised at the ambiance here. We came during their slow time so there weren’t anyone else there. They had so many unique burger choices! Their fried pickles and sweet potato tots were great. My son enjoyed their “famous” sauce so much. He had the burger that had “very hot” in the title it was spicy but not much. He enjoyed it anyway. I also had a blackberry beauty drink. It was made well, not too sweet and carbonated. I gave 4 stars because this place blew me away for a burger joint. More than what I expected.

We are here because they offer gluten free buns. Usually this means cardboard buns but they were great and very close in taste to a regular bun. The burgers were out of this world. We ordered truffle fries and shakes. Both were great. We ate outside in a cozy and inviting nook. A win all the way around!

I ordered Crab Rangoon burger, waffle fries and mango shake. They were delicious! Crab Rangoon burger has crunchy wonton strips and sweet chili sauce, surprisingly good. The mango shake is so creamy. I am glad I discovered this gem on I-80.
