Soooo clean!!! I stayed in room 107. Everything is glistening. No fingerprints, burn holes, dust or filth in my room. No bugs of any kind. I was charged $63 but the room (IMO) is worth much more. Nice updated carpet, Samsung flat screen HD monitor, soft cushy bed that you sink into. HVAC works excellent. No foul odors. VERY CLEAN!!!

Nothing Super about it. The sink that hadn't been cleaned and had someone else's toothpaste stains and hair in it. After waking up several times during the night because the piece of foam they call a bed was bothering my back, I got out of bed at 5am with a raging headache from the lingering smell of 100 years of smokers. That's when I noticed the rest: stains on the bedding, tears in the blanket, and mold in the shower. Sure, everything looks nice, but my guess is that they put an entire tube of lipstick on the pig. I immediately booked a room elsewhere.

Terrible experience. First of all. We made reservations on the phone for two nights. Additionally with a $10 fee per night for. Dog fee which we understood. We originally found on google the prices to be around $53 and that’s why we chose to reserve at that hotel. When we we asked over the phone what our grand total for the two days was going to be we were told $119 and were told our confirmation number which we wrote down. My fiancé and I clearly heard the total of $119 as we were on speaker. A few days later as we checked in surprisingly we were told that our room rate was $99. With the Dog fee this brings us now to $109 per night. I told the front desk this was not the price we were told over the phone. Because the front desk employee was of ethnic decent we wondered if whether we (my fiancé and I) could have mistaken what we heard over the phone. We sounded out the number 119 vs 110 and came to the conclusion that we definitely were told 119 and couldn’t have mistakenly heard a different price. I proceeded to confront the man at the front desk and told him I was very unhappy that we were not getting the room rate we were told. I asked him to pull up our confirmation number on his computer. He of course proved us wrong with what he showed me. We had no proof considering we didn’t not get an email confirmation. All the while the employee gave a little bit of lip and and threatened that if we were unhappy he was going to cancel our room reservation. Even said something along the lines about disrespecting him which came out of nowhere because I was very much not being disrespectful. Because we were in town for a state tournament we were of course worried we wouldn’t be able to find a new room at a different hotel immediately. We submitted and just said whatever we’ll take the room and proceeded to the room upset. After reading other reviews we now find that others have been the same situation and they could be scamming or lying to customers on prices and find out their new increased price when checking in. Which made us more furious. We tried to avoid any contact from checking in until we checked out. Around 9:30 or 10 on our check out day my fiancé was packing and I was exiting the shower. As I’m exiting I hear her say hey we’re in here!!!! A man cleaning employee was using his key to enter our room!! And we had our do not disturb tag on the outside of the door!!! She could see him through the peep hole. I asked myself, what if I was out of the room and she was in the room by herself unclothed and changing and this man walks in!?? That’s messed up!!! As I have read other reviews I now see that this has happened to other reviewers as well. We understand that being the state tournament that room price inflation could occur. But we clearly were told a price over the phone and were not happy with the customer service nor the ignorance of our privacy. If we are in town again we will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Terrible terrible experience.

I have stayed at many Super 8 but this was by far the worst experience of any stay anywhere. Online it said either 2 double beds, not queen, or a king suite with pull out bed. The price online was $72. When we checked in it magically became $99 before taxes and fees. At first they put us on the 2nd floor but once they found out we had kids they moved us to the bottom floor because anyone with kids they want on bottom floor because they "might be loud". Seriously! My kids were quieter than all the loud obnoxious "adults" there. We went to our room and noticed no bedding for pull out couch. Called front desk and they said we needed to go down there and they would give us sheets and pillows, and when I said what about blanket they said "oh we don't have any". I pulled blankets and top sheet down, and found not 1 but 2 long black hairs. When I stepped next to bed I could feel something and heard a crunch. Looked down and there was nasty food and I don't know what else all along the bed, all around and behind both end tables. Lamps, alarm, and end tables had not been dusted. There was something nasty all down the front of end table, and some nasty white stuff all over the head board. I lifted the bottom sheet, and mattress protector to find the very filthy stained 2nd mattress cover. Found hairs in shower, door to spa was filthy, dead bugs, sticky stuff all over vanity and sink, the sink was completely cracked and broken, and the window sills were full of dirt and more dead bugs. Tried to make contact with front desk but nobody was available. I took pictures and when checked out, I was treated very rudely and after arguing he said he would refund only $50 and to email the pictures to the owner. I did and explained everything. Figured I would at least get some type of follow up but I got nothing! Not even an apology.

Very clean and tv had a lot of extra channels. Only reason not 5 stars is charged me for both days for my dog when they Don't service stay overs. This seems unfair especially because my small dog never made a mess and has never gone potty in a room ever.

I have been a customer for about 5 years. It is an average hotel at best but the price has always been reasonable. My kids graduation was this weekend. So needing to book a block of rooms I called rather than booking online. I called 4 other motels weeks ago. I was quoted $74. When we checked in the price was $110. Since I booked it over the phone I didn't have a confirmation of my quoted price. I will also be informing Super 8 that their franchise is being compromised.

Had to call for assistance at the desk to check in. Our room smelled so musty and sour we had to sleep with the window open. We asked for a pack and play and they pretended they didn't know what that was. Then asked for a crib and they said they only had one and it was being used. Shower had black mold on the ceiling, the toilet made some super loud squeeling noise, and hair in the sink when we got to our room. The fridge also had mold in it. No one at the front desk ever. Not customer friendly or helpful at all!

My family and I stayed at the Super 8 Hastings for an extended stay since we were displaced from our home, and we were treated dishonestly during our time there. To provide some context: We spent thousands of dollars here, did our own cleaning, not once partook in the complementary breakfast, and never caused any problems for the staff. But within the last month of our stay, we were double-charged THREE TIMES for the weekly rate. When we brought this to the attention of the management, they tried to dismiss our concerns, accusing us of "not understanding simple mathematics". They even went as far as to hand us a calculator to do the necessary math ourselves, which was incredibly insulting. This issue did not subside until I got in touch with my credit card company and put them on speakerphone for the manager and owner to listen to the hotel transactions, finally surrendering when they were caught red-handed. This situation was VERY disappointing and a disgrace to the reputable Super 8 name. We would not recommend anyone to stay here if they do not want to go through the exact same mistreatment we experienced. Please steer clear of this hotel and save your credit cards from these con artists!

The room did not smell of smoke! My mother, who doesn't smoke, also said that the room did not smell like smoke. Pretty skeptical after some of the reviews (many that weren't dated). Very clean. Location was perfect for us. Cost was low so we didn't expect a whole lot. Not a real big breakfast but didn't expect one. Would definitely stay here again.
