Super 8 by Wyndham Hastings

I was in 210 i think and got woke up to knocking on my head board. It was the creepiest feeling I've had. I ended up sleeping in the work truck.

Pretty nice rooms. Comfy beds. Hot shower. Plenty of TV channels. But service sucks. And breakfast sucks. The guy was late and didn't even have breakfast ready, but when he brought it out, it was the left over biscuits and gravy from yesterday, that he just threw in the microwave in the uncovered bowl he stored it in. and then proceeded to restock the breaded items all by hand with no gloves. And then brought out the biscuits, I'm assuming from yesterday, in a container that does not seal and is not for food. So basically don't eat here but other then that it's pretty solid 👍 and cute wife though jk

Room was dark and dingy. Hallway security door would not lock. Random people with bagged possessions hanging out by door that wouldn't lock. Calling the experience sketchy is being polite. Walked into room, looked around, and then went back to front desk and checked out. Found another hotel down the street. It's sad. We stayed there with no issues a few years ago.

Ok place to stay, only hotel with joined rooms. Been here 2times, going to try another one next year. A lot of money for what we got 273 for 2 nights over 500 for both rooms/ no pool : hallways smelled like cigarettes, soft spots under the carpet where you walk. Hair in the bed and tub- water running in tub continuously. Struggled to close Bathroom door also because of raised tiles. Vanity light not working. Subpar breakfast, tasted reheated. Middle Eastern ran dump. Some of the rooms in this hotel are very unsafe and have exposed outlets children could very easily find or you. A Veteran brought this to the hotel's attention and was asked to leave the property for doing so. The breakfast area is/was for the 11 days I stayed here a mess. They also allowed for a car alarm to go off for 3hrs from 11-1am . Only after the cops showed up did something happen. This place should have it's doors closed.

Strange set up for rooms. We were supposed to have a king bed room but, they messed up our reservation. We ended up with 2 double beds. Room is small and old. Carpet is stained and whole place smells musty. Bathroom is barely big enough for tub and toilet. Turn sideways to close bathroom door. Sink is outside of bathroom. Continental breakfast is exactly the same every day. Don't drink coffee because it's always burnt. 2 good things though. A/C is good and best coffee shop in town is 70 ft. From front door. Don't recomend this place. It is better than the Midland lodge though.

Tub felt slippery worse then most A little short on linen but was a nice place to stay rooms were clean carpets felt nice kinda pricey for 3.5☆ internet price was 65.00$ actual price 105.00$ I didn't realize taxes were going to be that high. LOL!!

They do still offer smoking rooms. Although when we stayed we were giving a smoking room on accident we went and asked to change rooms and they ran our card twice for both rooms. And never repaid us the extra money that was taken.

You can still smoke in the rooms. I'm a smoker but holy cow it stunk sooo bad in the room. My suitcase is outside airing out. Stains everywhere. The bathroom was so small you couldnt get dressed in there. Of course no pool.

Here's an honest review. Lower your expectations this is an older facility. It is a 2 star hotel, not the Ritz Carlton. Bathrooms are small, rooms are average sized, overall ya get what ya pay for. For what this is, it gets my 5 stars for review. Beds are comfy. Showers are super hot. TV has lots of channels. If your traveling for business, it's comfy enough to sleep, shower and decompress after working. Would I book this hotel while on vacation, no. Does it work while I'm here working long days, yes. Breakfast has some stuff, waffles, yogurt, normal kinda stuff. It's not fancy, but it's an amenity to save you a buck or two while you're here working. There was an early morning or two when breakfast wasn't set up when I left, during the time that it was posted to be available. It would be my only complaint but not enough to drop a star off the review, it's a small family run place, so every now and then it has to been nice for the owner to sleep in. Maybe adjust breakfast hours on those days, but I'm really having to nitpick to have a complaint about this accommodation. So what, one morning I didn't get a waffle and a yogurt, big deal, move on. Staff was polite in my interactions. I had a burned out bulb when I arrived, when I left for the next day I let him know and the guy at the front desk promptly took care of it while I was out the next day. Simple and done. Rooms were clean, and well stocked. I had forgotten to get shampoo, but the guy upfront gave me two little bottles when I asked for them as I arrived one evening. I had already used the one supplied in the room. Parking fills up fast but has an over flow area for parking. Lots of work trucks, and construction crews frequent this hotel. It's a quiet place, so I don't feel like someone's gonna steal your car or break a window, but make sure you lock your car up, just in case. This family run hotel is a good place to stay if you're in Hastings for work, or just need a comfy bed and a hot shower for a night if you are passing thru. Overall I had a very pleasant stay for 12 days while here on business and I would gladly stay here again for work.
