Pat's auto is the most honest auto repair shop you'll find in Hastings. They will bend over backwards to make sure you're well taken care of, all for a fair price. Highly recommended!

Took my car here to fix one thing, ended up having to bring it back twice because they messed it up (I'm not a car person, they said they clamped a hose that shouldn't have been). When I brought it back they called to tell me they didn't get to it and I've have to bring it back, just try not to drive it a lot. I was at work at the time so I asked them to lock my keys in it and I'd pick it up later. They left the keys on the driver seat in plain sight, unlocked. I brought it back a third time to get the problem fixed and I'm still having the same issues as before. I was thankful they were able to tow me, but that's about the only good thing I've gotten from this company. Staff was impatient, poor appointment planning, and just general carelessness.

Needed to be towed after I lost control and my van ended up in a ditch. Todd came out promptly on a very cold and blustery day, figured out how to extract me without flipping the van, and towed me to a local Ford dealership. Professional, friendly, knew his stuff. Very pleased with his service!

I ended broke down and needed to replace the motor. I payed for a remaned motor out of pocket with a warranty. After 2 weeks and several attempts Pat's auto couldn't get the truck running correctly...After Pat's purchased several parts that weren't needed, still no luck on getting the new engine to clear the fix engine codes. I ended up taking the vehicle to a dealership. They located the problem quickly and the re-maned motor was faulty....The warranty that came with the motor was also bunk. Didn't cover any labor. So I ended up paying the dealership more money to finish fixing the problems..was extremely upset and was offered nothing to offset the cost......fast forward two months.......I am again out of town when motor and exhaust was making yerrterr noises. Stopped by the local Midas shop ...problem found. Pat's never complety tightened the exhaust bolts from the new factory Y pipe that they said had to be replaced. Problem solved by tightening two bolts.....frustrated as hell with the qaulity of service, the complete disregard to details and the fact they still charged full price for a job they never completed and I am still finding repairs from the time they tried to fix the vehicle......let's this be a warning to potential customers. I would be reluctant to letting them do anything other than a basic oil change. And the fact that the office staff tries to intervene when there is a problems........ To add injury to insult. The last communication that I had with Kara was they were going to contact the warranty company for some type of reimbursement. Today I get another bill from them for parts that were never needed. A real class act, if you ask me.

Great service at a fair price. I was out of town working in Hastings and needed service as quick as possible, I Googled and found Pat's was close and called and asked if they could get me fixed today. They said yes got the parts I needed and got me on my way. Thanks to their team effort.

On my way to Hastings from out of town, the muffler on my Corolla disconnected from the rest of the exhaust pipe. Pat’s was able to find time to weld the muffler back on quickly, and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!
