It looked ok. I was not staying there though. I was in the McDonald's drive threw waiting for my food long enough my phone thought I was checking in! Its right next door.

Found a bed bug coming out of shower drain within first two minutes of stepping in door. Money was refunded without fuss, would not stay.

Horrible service and horrible rooms, the owner is completely rid rude and definitely needs to workon his customer service. Wi-Fi connection only works outside the room. Only good thing about this dump is the cleaning ladies are extremely nice

Awful rooms, rude staff, sketchy neighborhood, poor parking unless you want to be hit by a car in the McDonald's drive through. Rooms aren't just outdated but also dirty.

I booked a stay at Midlands on line for July 2, 3, and 4. I was told I would not be charged until I checked in. Well, I ran into some problems and could not make it it until the 3rd. They charged my card on July 2nd and then again on July 3rd. When I arrived on the 3rd they told me they did not charge me twice even when I showed proof that the charges were pending on my account. The lady at the counter told me she ran the card on the 2nd and then called her boss and asked him if he charged me on the 3rd. he told her no he didn't. I was furious that I was not getting a straight answer from anyone at the lodge. When I checked out on the 4th the owner was there and asked how the stay way, I told him it was not good and explained about the double charge. The excuse I was given was that he was working nights and was tired, funny that he came up the receipt of the reversal charge after I told him he would be hearing my credit card company. Horrible place to stay. They try to rip you off. I will never stay there again. Worst experience ever.

The FORMER OWNER was as rude as the CURRENT OWNER is.I'm NOT SURE HOW this motel is even still open except for the fact that it is a cheaper alternative to the other motels. Their continental breakfast ONE of the FEW GOOD points I've got about this place otherwise you'd be better off going to the motels north going towards Wal-Mart. In the past there was A LOT of drug busts at this motel.

They are the truest example of a budget motel, but the room was clean, the Wi-Fi worked, the air conditioning was cold, and the shower was strong and hot. Not sure what else one would want in a night stay during a drive through the state.

The Cleaning Ladies Do A Terrific Job & The 1 Maintenance guy Has Been There Over 20 Years The New Maintenance Guy Kevin Is A Very Great & Helpful Guy. The Management Is Kind & Courteous.

Poor quality hotel. WIFI didn't work and when I called the front desk nobody would answer. Towels were yellow and the room smelled of body odor. Best part was the constant flow of cars going in and out of the parking lot. McDonalds sits right next door and all these people coming and going out of that one room upstairs. I placed a chair in front of the door as I am fearful that the 3 thugs in the parking might bust down my front door. Don't stay here, it's not safe.

This is the worst i have ever had at this hotel, and my family has been staying here for 25+ years. The staff is RUDE and does not attend to your needs. You call and ask for another pillow and they say that you should have done that when you checked in. The showers are made for people under 4' ft tall. Nothing in this hotel is "nice or clean". I would rather have my money back and sleep in my car.
