Initially, I was pleased with Heartland's friendly customer service, good prices, and their efficiency. However, it has been difficult to get my dog's heart Rx on time and get accurate communication over the last 6 months. With a recurring Rx, though I ordered it in the middle of the month, renewals were always processed the first week of the month. Then that arbitrary day was on the weekend with a holiday on Monday, so my order was quite late. Out of 3 renewals, the first arrived 2 weeks early, the next was 10 days late, and the third was accidentally cancelled without my knowledge. Also, the prescription supposedly expired, also without me or my vet being notified. My dog had suffered with all this bungling. I called but those I talked with didn't seem to care. So I cancelled with Heartland. I wrote to Christy the manager 10 days ago and have gotten no reply. 😟 I know a nationwide business can have customers fall through the crack. But when a customer points out a problem, hoping for some concern and no one cares, you go elsewhere...

Easy transaction, i provided the contact details for our Vet and they handled everything from there. medication arrived a few days later with no issues. very happy with the service.

I spoke with someone on the phone to add a rush overnight Saturday delivery to my order. While the rush cost was high, it still saved me a costly emergency trip to the vet to be able to have my prescription called in and overnighted. It arrived timely and they tracked it along the way. As well, the kind lady I spoke with on the phone stayed on the phone until the charges went through as I was attempting to do it from my phone. She also communicated with her team to make sure it still went out since it was a Friday afternoon. Exceptional service experience. Thank you Heartland Vet Supply!

Ordered liquid heart medication for my pet and after approximately 2 weeks the cap on the medication broke the directions faded off and the syringe broke. Loose product because bottle needs to be shaken twice a day. Called the customer service and was told they would send only send me a new bottle and syringe only. Waiting for the new bottle. First time I used this service and will be the last.

My order shipped incredibly quickly, which I really appreciated. I was also worried it would take a bit of time to get my pet's prescription confirmed by my vet but that happened quickly too. Very happy with my order from HVS!

Placed an order and after 2 weeks the pills have not shipped and I was not contacted if there were any issues. I guess they don't need my money. If I could give them a lower rating I would.

Prices are good and staff very friendly but poor listeners. Even when explicitly told that the vet changed and they are given all the details, they still contact the previous vet and then call you asking why the vet says they are not your vet. Every single purchase turns into several phone calls instead of one, dragging out the time until you get your refill in the mail.
