I frequently stay at the Grand Island Candlewood Suites hotel. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spotless, the pantry is always clean and well stocked. This is an excellent facility I would recommend for everyone to stay at.

I frequent this hotel for business trips but this will be the last time I will stay here! I originally booked one night and at 10pm I inquired about adding a 2nd night. The front desk person told me their was availability and shouldn’t be w problem. At 5.30 am this am I again came to front desk prior to leaving for work and asked to extend to tomorrow. I was told my same room was available for $119 and I could leave my items there. I asked if I needed to sign a form or pay now and she assured me that my card was on file and I would be billed when I checked out tomorrow. I got a call today at 1pm at my office and was informed I needed to come get my items because my room was booked. I asked to speak to the manager and HE was extremely rude! He told me to “be quiet” and that he couldn’t help that they overbooked the room. He told me that the lady told him at 8 am that she extended my stay. They called me 7 1/2 hrs later than when I booked this am with no problem. I was very upset and told them I would come get my items when I could. They proceeded to call my work office ( not my cell on file) a total of 6 times in an hour and half time span. I had to leave work in the middle of an important project to pick up my items. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable! When you are in the hospitality industry, this isn’t how you treat a customer. He offered absolutely nothing to accommodate me for the inconvenience and error and the manager was extremely rude. I have contacted corporate and hope they follow up on this management team.

Front desk staff, was very condescending and rude. Staff working directly with guests must have patience, be courteous and respectful. If you do not have these skill sets than this job is not for you.

Grand Island is a usual stop for me, but I had never stayed at this hotel before. I honestly chose it because it was the cheapest hotel I could find, but I would definitely stay here again even if that wasn't the case. …

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. It was very spacious, CLEAN, stylish decor. The beds are oh so soft and comfortable! Personnel were so accommodating also. The pool wasn't hugh but big enough and it was salt water, so relaxing! We will definitely stay here again!

All suite hotel with long term stays. Does allow pets so if allergic be aware. does not offer breakfast but does have items on site for purchase. rooms very nice with full kitchen. timer on the stove was a little strange but a safety feature I suppose. Overall a nice place to stay.
