Best Western Plus Grand Island Inn & Suites

I was traveling to Grand Island from the east coast because my mother had passed away. A snowstorm prevented my ride from picking me up (my family is 1 1/2 hrs away from GI) and I needed a place to stay last minute, and also needed a ride from the airport. This was the only hotel that offered any kind of shuttle service. I spoke with Ken at the front desk and he was incredibly kind and compassionate. He arranged for me to get the shuttle from the airport with the flight crew (I came in on the last flight of the evening at 11pm) even though they normally stop shuttle service at 10pm. He made sure the driver had my name and arranged a very nice room for me. He talked to me the entire time he was making arrangements, and took the time to make sure I was OK. When I arrived, check in was swift, my room was comfortable, and breakfast the next morning was delicious. Overall it was a wonderful stay, despite the sad circumstances of my travel. I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in GI. It may be a little more expensive than other hotels in the area, but in my opinion the service was well worth it. Definitely will stay again!

Great, friendly, helpful staff. Clean and modern room with all of the amenities. Didn't get the time to use the pool or hot tub. But I did go look and feel the water. Both were nice and warm. I wish I had been there for a pleasure trip. I'd have been in that pool! Lol

I've stayed here a few times. They do fill quickly. I would advise you to book in advance. As a side thought : As you walk down the halls of a hotel, please remember, no matter the time, someone is probably trying to sleep. The walls are paper thin. Your voice does wake others up. Same for leaving your door open. Thank you for your consideration.

My son and I were heading home to Utah from Omaha. We decided to stay in Grand Island because the weather was turning bad and we wanted a head start. We liked the location of our room and the ease of entering the building when we went out. So glad they had a small fridge. I don't eat much breakfast but was able to grab a few things. My son was thrilled with the breakfast choices. What more can I say than, "We love Best Western"!

Had a spectacular experience at this hotel. My room was astonishingly clean, equipped with all the essentials, and the bed was quite comfortable. The Pillows, however, deserve a special mention. Probably the most comfortable pillows I've ever found in a hotel. The staff was excellent in every possible way. Friendly, inviting, and helpful. Kent was a wonderful first impression for the hotel during check in. Next time I'm in Grand Island, I'll be staying here again for sure, couldn't ask for anything more in a hotel.

Had a great stay for my first time in Nebraska! I got great recommendations from my door dashers & hotel staff. Very good, friendly vibes here! I'm definitely returning here on my way home.

Not children friendly at all! Do NOT stay with small children! My sisters kids are on travling sports teams and has never been met with so many rules. We had 3 families stay with 8 kids total ranging from 3 to 15. Immediately met with no drinks in pool area, no horse play, no toys in pool, common area closed not allowed to eat or pizza, sound echos throw the hall kids need to stay in rooms. Etc made our stay no fun worried about rules rules rules feedback not delivered in a nice manner

Very clean facility. Wonderful breakfast. I will be back!

If I could give it a 0 Star rating I would with how my wife was treated in front of our child. Was informed upon check-in that they couldn't stay due to being locals. They were having a Mother/Daughter staycation. Even though she used our local information to book through an outside source. They were extremely rude and told my wife to leave upon asking to speak with a manager then the gentleman behind the counter threatened to call the police. We would highly recommend Holiday Inn Express! They gave us a room with no hassle and the facility was excellent!
