College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving

5 days from my job posting to today’s execution of job. I needed some things moved to Salvation Army down the street. They arrived as promised. My CHHJ crew was quick and efficient. Maintained a great attitude today despite the high heat and humidity. Will gladly call them again next time!

Great company with great employees. My family has moved a lot. These guys were impressive. They were on time, enthusiastic, and customer service focused. Will use them again.

Not only did they make this removal of a hot tub look easy they were professional kind personable and just amazing. There were some challenges but these were handled with ease. We will be using them again if needed and will tell everyone to call them first if you need anything moved at all! Thanks so much!

I was able to hire them last minute. They were very meticulous with wrapping our furniture and careful moving it. They were professional, quick, and did a great job! Would definitely use them again. They were also very affordable.

Awful experience, would never recommend. The most disrespectful, unprofessional person I've ever encountered as the "manager" of the crew of 2. Simple job (moving a treadmill from location A to B) . After 45 minutes attempting to take the handles off of the treadmill she ( manager) informed me she wasn't qualified to do take a treadmill apart, and I then requested her to stop . She told me that she would be charging me anyway, and she was already there. When I asked what happens if she breaks my $1000 treadmill, she quipped that they would reimburse me at $0.60 / pound, roughly $17. Then hung up with me and proceeded to disassemble the treadmill and move it from point A location to her truck, while I was on the phone with what I can assume is College Hunks corporate? That person transferred me back to her, and she essentially told me she took it apart and would be on her way. 40+ minutes later ( 8.6 mile drive ) I called to ask where she was , if she was lost, she replied " I'm driving a truck". When she arrived to my home, her attitude was atrocious. She asked me to sign a waiver for wall damage, I asked if she would be damaging my walls, she then inspected my stair well where she basically told me wall damage could be expected, since there wasn't 8 inches on each side of the equipment . That said, a standard entry is 31-32 inches, so they can only guarantee not hitting your walls if the object is half that size . Why have a mover ? At that point I had enough and asked her to just unload the treadmill in my entry way and I would get/ hire someone else to bring it to my basement without damaging my home. It can be done, by professional movers. Especially if they pad and wrap your items. It was clear nothing extra was going to happen, and at this point I am not even assured my treadmill will work. Nevertheless, she stood in my entry demanding to be paid or she wouldn't leave. I said get out of my house, and I informed her there was no way I was paying her for 1/2 the job, since I needed to finish it, and put back together my treadmill , without first talking to her manager . She said " I am the manager". I repeated my demand for her to exit my home , and she refused, which led to an unnecessary call to the police. She managed to get the actual owner on the phone, who I then was able to speak to via her phone. I will say he was respectful, and professional , despite how angry I was to have just spent 5 hours of my day dealing with this 1 hour job, and the stress of it all. He didn't agree with me, and felt she was professional and competent to do the job, but that 100% couldn't be further from what I experienced . He did Comp the labor portion, and essentially stated they were leaving the treadmill as is. Again, hopefully it works, but apparently their insurance would only pay $17 if she broke it . Their company motto is a "stress free move" laughable after the day I had! Oh, and can't forget, as she finally walked off my property, she spit on the driveway! Class Act!

Shayla and Terrell did an awesome job removing some furniture for me. They were so quick and professional! It was a super easy process.

We called them with short notice, but they were able to get us in without a problem! Showed up on time, was super friendly, very professional, and efficient. We ended up having a bit more than we gave during the quote, but they were able to accommodate. Very nice guys, will definitely give them a call the next time I move!

The hunks arrived on time and reviewed the items to be removed, then quoted me a very reasonable price. The loaded everything onto the truck, including having to carry a heavy treadmill up from the basement. They were friendly and professional, and I couldn't have had a better experience. Highly recommended!

We were able to schedule them when it was convenient for us. They were here in the the frame they gave us. Both of the young men were courteous and professional. They moved and oversized couch in for us that Nebraska Furniture Marts delivery people said they couldn't get in. They brought the new couch in and had the old ones out of the house in about 30 minutes. We will use them again and highly recommend them!

They arrived early and cleared everything out that we asked them to remove. They even took a few minutes to put the few things that we did not toss back into the room that we cleaned out. Both workers communicated with us and also re-confirmed what we were tossing. I would recommend them to anyone. We will use them again if the need arises. Thanks
