Midwest Dermatology Clinic, P.C. Bellevue

I was offered appointments at more than one location to accommodate my son’s hectic schedule. The office also offered service via a consent form for my 16yr old to see Dr. Madson by himself. As a busy working mom I appreciate all of their accommodations.

I had a 2:00 appt for my 2nd 6 month whole body mole check folowing a bout with skin cancer. I did get there about 10 min early; was immediately checked in; sat for maybe a minute before I was taken back to a room. As soon as I disrobed, put on a gown & sat on the exam table the doctor came in. He did a thorough examination, asking me several times if I noticed any worrisome spots or had any questions for him. He gave me the all clear for another 6 months, I got dressed, made my next appt. & was out the door by 2:10! I wish all my doctor appoinments were so time conscious!

Great experience. Didn’t experience anything that the 1 star reviews shared. Made an online appointment which apparently didn’t work but the staff was quick to still get me in. So I guess call them instead of making online appointments. But all of the staff was very pleasant and friendly. Wait times were very short and Dr. Madson was very professional and friendly. I will be back!

Always a great experience at Midwest dermatology. The front desk is very helpful when scheduling. I see Dr. Madson who is very friendly and professional. He cares, and makes you feel like a person rather than a number. I am 28 years old and have seen several dermatologists for acne, both as a teen and young adult and no one was able to find a solution for me. I feel as if no one before actually listened to me they just brushed me off and suggested something topical and he knew it was hormonal and needed to be handled internally. He and the staff are also great with my 7 year old who needed a few warts removed. All good things to say about Midwest.

The staff was super friendly and I was in and out in no time. Dr. Madson was extremely nice and knowledgeable, and he made me feel really comfortable during the visit and also with his recommendations for treatment. I highly recommend this clinic for any dermatological needs.

Dr was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything very thoroughly and answer any questions I had. Will definitely recommend him to family and friends. Would be 5 star review but I had to wait quite awhile after my appointment time to be seen. Hopefully it was due to it being my first visit and will be better on my next appointment.

Dr. Madsen and his staff went above and beyond to make my 6 year old feel calm and comfortable during her visit. They even had a beetle in a little cube for her to examine during her treatment and explained how the medicine was derived from the beetle. We were in and out before our scheduled appointment time!

Excellent experience. Jordan was very helpful as this was my first visit to Midwest Dermatology. I was able to complete the paperwork prior to visit which allowed me to answer medical questions in advance. Dr. Madsen came in, answered my questions/concerns. The nurse that attended to me was very pleasant, explained everything prior to and after the procedure. Very professional and friendly atmosphere. Five-stars in my opinion.

Was very pleased with my appointment at Midwest Dermatology Clinic in Bellevue. My wait time wasn't long, and my visit with Dr. Darling was very thorough. She and the staff there are very pleasant and I would have no problems recommending them nor with returning if need be in the future. They are an A++ practice.

This has been the most frustrating encounter. I went to ask for some help with the redness on my face. The nurse was very kind. I really liked her. Doctor Madson was funny making jokes about how the only way to avoid skin damage was to live in a cave and not go into the sun. He decided that I have rosacea after looking at my face (very impressed he could diagnose from across the room). I expressed concern that my primary care physician had suggested it was extremely dry skin or possibly even an allergy. However, Dr. Madson assured me it was rosacea. He suggested a cream and wrote me a prescription. I went to pick up the prescription at Costco and they said they did not have it. I called Midwest and they assured me they had sent it but would send it again. So went on another trip to Costco to pick up my prescription and was told again that it was not there. I learned when I called this morning that Midwest had my name wrong in the system. No apology. No concern about the time I've spent trying to pick up this prescription. No assurance my information was attached to the correct account. Just basically an "It's fixed now." and a hang-up. I will not be back to this office and am trying to decide if the Bellevue office or the whole system is this lackadaisical about patient records.
