They kinda ripped me off, after having me work for 27 hrs straight, I quit so they kept my pay for not driving to Omaha Nebraska to leave the truck, but I got the truck from Edwardsville, il. So that's where I returned it. So they kept my pay. go figure that one. They kept resetting the qual com to wear it wouldn't show how many hrs I was on the clock. I wouldn't recommend working for that company personally.

Let me just start by saying they have a wonderful staff and terminal manager. They are kind, knowledgeable, professional. The terminal is excellent as well. Driver facilities are great as well. Give a recruiter a call and see if Werner is for you. Always remember safety first always. Good luck on your adventures!

I worked there in 1988! My dispatcher was Don Etter? Is he still there? Got a job there out of school and trained for 2 months. They should still be doing this but they dont. Good place to start, Had a Kenworth double bunk COE # w2611

I’ve been a driver for Tcu for a little over a year. My driver manager Jason formanack is truly amazing along with his manager Ryan. Super greatful to be apart of their team. They really do care about their driver and definitely show it. All you have to do is ask.

I applied for a Monday thru Friday, 1200 midnight – 1200 noon, home daily route, but the job posting wasn’t honest about the position. I later learned that I applied for what they call a NetOps run. I grab an empty trailer or a load from a drop yard, rendezvous with another driver, swap trailers and head back to the drop yard. Something that would fit my current lifestyle and allow me to spend time with my daughter regularly. Once I completed 3 weeks of driver's training on the road, I was really ready to start driving. I called my transportation manager and during our first conversation I learned I was in a floater position. This position is meant to fill in for people that want to take leave, call out sick or anything else that could happen along those lines. Long story short it’s a job that doesn’t provide consistent work. I need consistent work. Information about the job being a floater position isn't on the job post that I applied for. This also wasn't a part of the initial conversation I had with my recruiter. Surprise, surprise. In my eyes, Werner Enterprises is dishonest and misleading. I applied to Werner because I believed they treated their drivers “well”. I heard about the low cpm, unorganized dispatch, and other issues, but most of those things can be found at other trucking companies in one way or another. I was ready to work this position to its fullest and even work weekends, because I came to this company ready to work. This tactic of lying to drivers is what pushes good drivers away, especially if you just want to make an honest, consistent living. If you’re a new truck driver applying for a job, you won’t always know what questions to ask to get the full picture on a position. Hopefully this review will help in some sort of way. Don’t expect the recruiter to tell you everything.

This company uses new drivers and don't keep what they promised with the pay scale, the driving school is longer then posted and they have a high turn over rate, and some driver haven't been paid in a whole month on weekly accounts.
