Fairly new restaurant and my first time visiting. The service was very good and the fish sandwich was enormous accompanied by perfectly breaded French fries. Will go back.

Absolutely loved the food 😍. We started with the crab and artichoke dip, and it was amazing. We followed with the Santiago burger (the flavors married superbly) and the Buffalo chicken mac and cheese (very rich and creamy). The staff were wonderful, Emma was our server and she was extremely personable. Rachel was also attentive to us even though she was not our server. We enjoyed talking with DJ and he was very open to feedback. All in all, one of my favorite dining experiences in quite some time. We will definitely be back. 😊

What a fun place! If you're in the papillion area check it out. I'd recommend reservations, especially for weekends. Unless you want to sit at the bar. That's what we did and had a blast. I also got an espresso martini,my husband loved his old fashioned. For food I ordered the chicken pot pie risotto & my husband got the Argentinian pulled pork! 🤤🤤

Food was amazing! My wife and I come here on a regular basis. The Staff here take good care of us and care about the overall experience we have. Today was a special menu and was a nice addition to what they already provide. Pictures are of the Black Forest RoastedTenderloin, Sierra Madre Red Grouper and the Mini Baked Alaska Dessert.

WOW!!! It’s so nice to have a nice, clean & friendly place to have in Papillion. The main reason I did give it a 4 is because my potatoes were a little cool for me & I did put it in the gravy & then it was okay. The fries were a little cool but the hamburger was hot so it seemed more like a timing issue, but I knowTalus hasn’t been opened very long & I am sure they are working out the kinks still. The dessert was more like a pie crust with a thin layer of cream between each layer. They said it tasted like cheese cake & I don’t like cheese cake & I did not get that thick flavor or taste that comes with cheese cake. Was it tasty?YES!! Would I come back to see if it’s worked out the kinks? YES! Would I recommend you trying? Absolutely!!

So I went to dinner with a friend back in late September and I have to say I really loved the food here! Talus really impressed me with the ambiance, plating and more importantly the SERVICE was AMAZING! I had the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and the Buffalo Brussel sprouts. Seriously, worth a try, great mood, patio seating was awesome and food was delicious! You need to try this place if you haven't yet! It is a bit more upscale as price goes but to me it seems worth it based on the fresh ingredients and flavor.

We had a delicious meal with excellent service. Talus has a great menu with lots of different options and an outstanding cocktail menu. Our food was fresh and very tasty! The Chicken Friend Chicken was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Every bit about this place was amazing. The minute I walked thru the door to the minute I walked out I was very well taken care of by the staff. Upon sitting down I was overwhelmed by the menu, everything on it sounded so good that I had to ask for help before I could commit. Our waitress was super helpful letting me know what some of her favorites were and what the crowd favorites were. I got the Cucumber Ginger Salmon and my friend got the Shrimp and Cashew Pasta. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the pasta was simply incredible! My favorite thing was the Crab & Artichoke Dip, it had so much crab in it and the flavor was incredible. The manager D.J. came out after we were done eating and asked how everything was and told us about future plans for the menu and I gotta say, this is a place that I will be returning to to try some more items.

We wanted to love this place because Papillion desperately needs more good restaurant options besides Ollie & Hobbes, but they had too many misses for more than 3 stars at this point. The restaurant was beautiful. Host was very nice. Surprised they didn’t have booster seats for our toddler. Their flimsy paper menus that were worn down surprised us. The only extra napkins they had were tiny beverage napkins. So just a few little, easily fixable things there. Our biggest issue was that we had to ask for everything. There was no anticipating our needs by the server. We had a party of 7 and when the two appetizers were brought out, they didn’t include any plates. We sat there staring at the apps for a few minutes before finally getting up to ask someone. When the food finally came out, we had to ask for ketchup to go with the fries (4 different meals came with fries). We had to ask for salt and pepper. We had to ask for drink refills. We had to ask for more napkins. We had to ask for boxes and the check. You get the picture… We were there for a good two hours; it took that long to order, get the food, get checked out. And this was only a Wednesday evening. The food was pretty good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Was it amazing? Wouldn’t go that far. Probably slightly overpriced for what you get considering the slow service. Would appreciate happy hour or specials that they said they were “working on.” The food was good enough to go back and try it again after some time passes and they can work out the kinks. Or train their servers better. I will come back and update the review, hopefully with a 5-star experience, when that time comes.

Fabulous, every bite was full of complex flavor. Pictured is the salmon with risotto and cucumber, and the Lithuanian torte so light and creamy. Drinks were superb, highly recommend the smoked old fashioned. Service is fantastic and the owner personally made us feel welcome. We cannot wait to go back to try the other cocktails and menu items that sounded delicious.
