Sport Clips Haircuts of La Vista at Southport

My son has gone here a few times for hair cuts and they have all been awful experiences. He has gone back only because it is the most convenient to our house. The staff are very rude and do an awful job. Yesterday he went in by himself and when he got back, I thought he didn't end up getting a haircut since his hair looked exactly the same except for a two inch spot above his forehead where it was inexplicably cut short. He said he still gave the guy a $5 tip which is >20% and the guy told my 16-yea- old that was not enough. WTH. I wish I could get all of my money back, especially the tip. We will NEVER go here again.

Oh man, I ran across an ad that reminded me that my little one got cut in line for his first haircut after “someone important came in for a hair cut” and the old man didn’t care. He was so excited, o well… Took my boys hand to leave and got offered coupons, which I refused. Bad reminder for my kids first experience. Hate ads from them, wish to turn off.

I went online to check in and was told it was an 11 min wait. Got to the location 10 mins later and see my name on the board and it now says 41 min wait. Also has 3 names in front of my name on the list and the 2 stylist working both had new clients in their chairs. I go to sport clips all the time and have never had this issue except 1 other time at this exact location. My guess is that both of the clients in the chair were walk ins that they took out of order. What's the point of having online check in if your not going to follow it? I get that it's just an estimate but my 11 min wait turned into a 35 min wait due to you wanting to go out of order. No way that it was an 11 min wait with 5 people in front of me in line. Have never had this issue with the other locations so going forward I will just make sure to go to other locations. Also not sure why you always only seem to have 2 stylist working over the lunch hour...

Walked in at 5 pm on a Saturday, when they close at 5:30. Was asked if I had an appointment, said no, and was told they weren't going to cut my hair and that they open again at 11 am the next day. Pretty positive the guy with the funky hair color just wanted to go home instead of making money. Obviously would've tipped knowing it was late on a Saturday but apparently your hair dressers don't like to work. WON'T BE BACK

One of the worst haircuts I’ve had by some big guy with a ponytail. It seemed he was out of breath standing up and gave a lazy haircut. I paid $30 just to wear a hat for the next week until I can get this fixed.

Over the haircut was ok as I had to fix a few things when I got home (loose hairs that were missed), however, I just moved to this area and decided to give this location a try. The person getting a haircut next to me got offered a free mvp upgrade because he was new to the location which is somthing I know they typically do, however, that was never an option given to me. Additionally I like the shaver and this is the first time any location has tried to implement an additional charge for the shaver on top of the haircut that is already over priced. The employees also just didn't seem to be very happy to be there which always makes for a awkward experience. Would not go back here and suggest others try other Sports Clips locations.

We showed up 3 minutes to close and Morgan was gracious enough to stay and cut my son's hair. She did a phenomenal job, was so nice and my son loved her. We will for sure be coming back with this kind of clienr service and quality work. She is awesome!

Unprofessional and Terrible customer service from Assistant Manager (in charge while manager is out for surgery) Answered the phone as Laura, but then said that's not her name when told I was calling with a customer complaint. Arrived 7 minutes prior to close, hoping to lucky enough to still get my son in for a quick cut. "Laura" from the back announced, "we close in 7 minutes" and continued on her current cut. I was like "ok, and" she repeated "We close in 5 minutes". Me, "OK, what's that mean, no cut for us" Her, "We open at 10am tomorrow".. Could've been a totally different experience. Hi welcome to Sports Clips! Unfortunately we'll be closing in 7 minutes, and aren't able to take any new clients today. We'll be opening again at 10am tomorrow, would you like me to right you down for our first appointment?? It's that hard these days.. C'mon, Customer service is a thing of the past these days.

I’ve come here several times. It’s the most convenient spot in my area. That doesn’t always mean the service is great. But today I was blown away. I came in for my 2 sons and myself to get cuts. The new stylist Nico made it quick, fun, and provided a good quality cut, smiled the entire time and gave a true Wow service. That’s something that is hard to recreate. I think you guys got a keeper! Su.e hope to see his name next time I check in.
