Rocket Carwash - La Vista City Centre

FINAL UPDATE: I met with the GM this morning and can say he is a man of his word. Truly, no sarcasm. Last week when we spoke, he said he wanted to see the car and offer some solutions. Beings that he was in car detailing for years he was able to extremely quickly (20-30 seconds) know exactly what the spikey rust spots covering the entire length of my car were. He was able to definitively identify in that time it was Railroad dust. And, true to his word he was able to offer a $15 solution of which I could do myself. As for the thousands of pits in my grill, headlights and windshield? He was able to definitively find that nothing in their carwash could ever cause that. It was impossible. And the blower that was laying on the ground when I came through last time was brand new. They were just moving parts around and hadn't been moved yet. I was speculating after being told by a body guy that there were metal shavings in my car's clear coat, and that it was the blower shooting metal shavings as it only seemed to make sense. And since I can't be as definitive as the GM; I'll simply replace the windshield, headlights and grill and inform the Paint Correction Special of solution offered for removing the thousands of spikey rust spots. All I can say, definitively is that the grill, headlights and spiky rust spots weren't there before going to Rocket Carwash. And now they are. And if my speculation were true, take solace in it appears that the issue causing the damage has been replaced. Which was all I was asking for. Sent a message to their website, haven’t heard back. I just wanted to make you all aware of something you may want to address. I’ve been to the La Vista location 3 times. All with the Rocket wash. Have been very impressed with it over all. Great customer service in the times I’ve been. However after the second time I notice hundreds of micro pits in windshield that seemingly weren’t there before. I shrugged it off as not noticing it when purchasing it about a month ago. And honestly second guessed myself that was even possible. But nothing else has touched my car and we don’t have acid rain. In the 4 weeks I have had it is garaged every night and drive 15 mins to and from work every day. With 1 week entirely being in the garage. However this past weekend when I was wiping the top of my car off after it being wash, I notice hundreds of tiny pits in the roof of the car. They literally snagged my microfiber towel which is what made me notice them. And now appear to have surface rust forming in the pits. After further looking these go from headlights to my trunk, only on the upper half of the car. While I shrugged off the windshield and kept going to the car wash, even purchasing a membership the snagging of my towel on the pits in my roof is something that was not there the last time I wiped it down about two weeks ago. I do understand that certain things are not liable as stated and are preventable by the car owner, however damaging pits in paint, headlights and windshields should be something that does not happen in a car wash. I am fully aware that your company may not be liable and likely won’t be willing to look further into the damage to my car. However please look into why this could be happening by the mechanisms/chemicals of the Rocket Car Wash so as it’s not happening to anyone else. If your company would like to discuss the damage on my car further, please contact me with the provided contact information. If not, please look into ensuring this cannot be happening and does not continue.

I finally took time to try the Rocket Carwash in La Vista. They did a great job and the free cleaning products was also a plus.

All the employees are cool, chill, and always got me with my questions. Love the environment and all round dope car wash , RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

They let new customers get into the queue pretty fast, other places new customers seems to wait forever. I was a one-time customer, moving out of the area. They offered to help spray my mats down - they’re extra thick (truck life) and are a real pain to do. The pressure washers had them soaped and rinsed in seconds. They gave me the tip to hit them with the blue air hose before putting them back in. Spot on! I’ve never had such good service and that’s with years of being a member at other car washes. Only draw backs - my truck was DIRTY so it could have used one more quick rinse. Heavy residue leaked down from the gas area and in certain areas around the bed of the truck. I got the $20 dollar clean (listed $18.99 maybe) and was left a little wanting on the effectiveness of the wash. Let me reiterate: service here is 💯

Car washing was great. We had a long trip out-of-state with lots of bugs in the grille. We were happy with how well it removed the bugs .

Went with the economy wash as it's an 18 year old Frontier. Even the economy wash was lots of soapy foam and a thorough rinse and blow dry. Clean ... really clean.

Excellent customer service. Better than the last time I visited there. Could have been because new AM Teanna I believe she said her name was. Not only made the experience amazing but she made my day amazing as well. Will definitely be back again.

A very good & thorough car wash was received. They have different levels of wash or wax u can get. Vacuum is self serve & does a great job!

3 stars because the wash is amazing. However before you get there be prepared to be berated by the salesman/manager trying to sign you up for a monthly membership who won't take no for an answer 5 times. Most pushy sales person I've ever experienced. Even threw out backhanded insults like "you don't like to save money?" - if the wash wasn't so good I for sure wouldn't go back. Still might not because I don't want to deal with that again

I went in before the holidays and my car had a factory piece that was flush with the body ripped off. When I was going through the line to get on the belt, the attendant had issues getting my small sedan on the track. I’m not sure if it was user error, or the machine simply having issues latching onto my tire. Once I was latched in, I thought I was good to go. The machine sounded like it was being a bit rough, but I didn’t think anything of it. When I got out of the line, I pulled over and checked my tires for damage, but all was good. I proceeded to go home and park in my garage. It was then, after I parked my car, that I noticed my vehicles factory piece was missing. (Attached are photos that show what the piece should look like, and where it is now missing on my passenger side). I called that day and was sent to voicemail. I left a detailed voicemail and never heard back. Fast forward through the holiday, I go in and talk with a manager. They tell me that they can look in the line at the end of the day to find the piece, but I haven’t heard back; it has been about a month with no word. I have not and will not go back to that rocket-wash. I’ll stick to the more reliable ones.
