Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Grand opening of the wahlburger, inside the hyvee. Fancy hamburgers and original menu items. Fresh made and delivered to table. Food was tasty and friendly service.

Always nice and clean with fresh produce and good quality meats. They also have great sales and great food at the prepared food counter and in the restaurant.

The staff is very helpful. I wish they would come back with their soup and salad bar. The best thing for my diabetes.

*Update: We used to love coming here. But between the ridiculous post-covid price increases, the constant stocking going on during peak shopping hours, and the staff members pushing themselves in front of you in almost every isle as they shop for online orders, our affection has soured. Add on top of that their most recent practice of checking your receipt after self-checkout and you can kiss our business goodbye. We shop at Fareway now.

The last few years my family and I have been volunteering on Thanksgiving and then we come home and heat up an amazing precooked Thanksgiving meal from Hy-Vee. We have done this for several years and they make it extremely easy! I wish I could remember her name, but there’s a lady with brown hair who is so helpful and kind. She made the entire pickup process a breeze! And the food!…. The food is SO delicious!! Thank you Hy-Vee and please pass along my thanks to the woman to helps with the pickup process. She said she was the one who entered everyone onto a spreadsheet!!

I love this store for many reasons. Every associate you walk past greets you and asks if you need help finding an item. Today really impressed me though! I’m sure it’s something they do every year but it’s new to me. Hy-Vee put on a Trunk or Treat for customers to bring their families to. They went all out! Associates had cool costumes and each counter was a stop for Trick or Treaters. It felt very mom and pop shop to me today!

Wonderful service! Employees very helpful will out of their way to help. Bought a birthday cake for my mom last night, January 12, who would have been 102 and my friends dog Floyd who is at Rainbow Bridge mutual birthdays. The cashier was very careful and made sure the cake was secure in the bag. The employees are a blessing to this store!

Love the cleanliness of the store and friendliness of the employees. We’ve had quite a few problems with aisles online in the past, but they seem to have improved quite a bit recently. My biggest complaint is that so often we will go in just for advertised items (too expensive to buy things not on sale here), and the shelves are empty. It’s very frustrating that they won’t offer rainchecks or substitutions of some kind. I always try to find someone to help check the back and every time they tell me they truly are out. I’ve even made it a point to come the day that the deals start to avoid this issue, but it doesn’t seem to matter. Pharmacy is great and we’ve gotten flu and COVID shots here, so that’s a win!

Hardly know where to begin. Today’s Veterans Day breakfast was so appreciated by all Veterans and their spouses. Thank you so much. This HyVee is by far the nicest anywhere!!! Management, cashiers, customer service, stockers ect. We have been shopping here since opening. And we have shopped others (out of necessity) and NONE can hold a candle to Papillion. Employees are helpful and cheerful and always have what we need. This reflects well on Papillions HyVee.

I want to acknowledge cherish from your bakery department. She made us a special anniversary cake for our good friends Bob and Cindy. It was perfect. Great job Cherish.
