Hotel Deco

Location in downtown is great. Everything around old market is close. Well located to airport. Rooms and interior is okay but someday need an update. Breakfast for 15 dollars not worth the price. Valet Parking works great.

Very nice little downtown hotel with character and history. Also, pleasant young lady named Sierra at reception was like a ray of sunshine and extremely helpful - a rarity these days! - and I will gladly return as I am in Omaha often on business. Good job, thumbs up

The hotel is very clean and has a nice layout. The showers had no water pressure and seemed very dark since it's lit with 2 Edison bulbs. The location is not bad, a few blocks from the restaurants and bars.

Don’t use Valet.. The room was fine, clean. Restaurant downstairs did not serve warm breakfast just complementary pastries and coffee downstairs for breakfast despite the website saying they have breakfast and dinner. Tried to order food for dinner to room that wasn’t available. Then here where it goes down hill… This place was great until we realized valet parking stole our belongings out of our car. Don’t leave anything in the car. Staff won’t do anything about it or even return my calls. 300$+ sunglasses gone and all our lighting equipment for photos. Front desk last acts all sweet when I tell her the situation but completely blows us off.

Appreciated the deco theme throughout the hotel from the entry to the restaurant to the lobby and even the hallways. The room was spacious and loved all the windows! The bathroom was nicely renovated with the special shower. Kat, at the front desk, was incredibly caring and helpful with questions and recommendations.

Spacious, affordable, and very very clean. Omaha isn't exactly the hub of culture, but it does have a lot to offer, and this place is a fantastic home base to explore it from. It's downtown, the restaurant is actually pretty good, there's secure valet service with off street parking, and the rooms are just kind of fun. There's a great Alice in Wonderland vibe to this place, and the staff are fantastic to boot!

This hotel doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. We arrived to check in at 3pm. We’re told our room wouldn’t be ready till 4. Waited in our car for an hour and then went to try again. Still wasn’t ready. They couldn’t even give us an estimated time of when it would be ready. They gave my husband and I 2 beer coins to grab a drink at the bar while we waited. Another hour passed and still no ready room. No time of when it would be ready. The front desk staff couldn’t even give us any information on why it wasn’t ready. After waiting for 2 hours we had missed our dinner plans and now had no idea what to do with our things or how to get ready for our event. We ended up having to cancel the hotel and never got into our room. If you want to have a relaxing stress free experience this isn’t the place. Also If you book here plan on possibly never even getting a room. Bogus.

I was looking for a quick weekend stay in Omaha and Hotel Deco caught my eye. The price was reasonable but the cleanliness, decor and hospitality was above all others! The bathroom was modern and spacious. The room plan was well laid out to give you space without sacrificing comfort. For the art appreciative guests, this is a must! I will definitely stay here any time I’m in Omaha.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. Kind staff, great drinks at the bar, and beautiful rooms! Unfortunately, my mind changed after leaving. I had accidentally left some jewelry on the sink of our room. The day we checked out, I noticed when I got home and immediately called the hotel. I was informed that they had my jewelry at the front desk to pick up at my convenience. Being from out of town, I could not make the travel plans to go back to Omaha. I was given the run around for over a month, told (rudely) that they have never and will never do mail service to mail my jewelry, even if I paid for the postage myself. After this last call, I was informed that they actually would do the mail service as long as I pay for it. She was so understanding and kind. No problem. I was ready to send the label! Now, no one knows where my jewelry is. My sentimental rings are gone forever. I will never stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is beautiful and so well kept. We stayed in one of the jacuzzi rooms and were very happy with the room. The room itself was huge, very clean, and very modern. The bed and pillows were wonderful, the most comfortable of any hotel I've stayed at. Our room was very quiet and private, it felt like the walls were more sound proof than an average hotel, we never heard anyone in the hallway or surrounding rooms. I loved how unique the Alice in Wonderland theme was throughout the hotel. Unfortunately we stayed over the holiday, so the restaurant and bar were not open, but I've heard great things about both!
