Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha Southwest-La Vista

Michael was running the front desk tonight. When we arrived, he had a pack & play already set up in the room for our infant. Kind and interactive with our children - grateful for that after a long day of traveling.

JUST WOW! The cleanliness, the cleanliness. I have stayed at a few Hilton properties in my life domestically and internationally. There is something special about this one. I don't know what I was expecting from this location but...just wow! The cleanliness is top notch. I don't know who I need to thank but I did have interaction with someone named Rachael. She was memorable indeed. Her attention to detail was extraordinary. Until this point, I've never heard of someone cleaning an elevator with such vigor.

I would advise staying away from this hotel. They certainly don’t live up to the rates they charge. Dirty throughout, including the room we stayed in. Housekeeping left a dirty rag on the floor at the entryway! Reported concerns, staff was indifferent. The breakfast was a disaster. Checkout was a joke. Need I say more? How do they even have the Hampton/Hilton label?

We had reservations at this location for 13 August 2022 (two rooms). Unfortunately our vehicle broke down in Denver on our way there, 13 August 2022. We contacted the Hampton Inn (Hilton) and let them know that for that night (the 13th) we had to cancel as a result of our breakdown. They refunded our money and sympathised with our circumstances. We then (7/8 AM 13 August, 30ish hours prior to our anticipated arrival) called the Staybridge Suites (Davenport - IHG) cancelled our reservations (14 - 17) explaining our circumstance....They CHARGED US $150 and cancelled our reservations. Anyway, we have rescheduled our visit for 6 - 12 Sept and will be staying at the Homewood Suites (Hilton) across from them. No more "IHG" for us, they are just after your money.... Where Hilton has proven to be in it for their customer.

We've stayed here several times since my first review and every time we've had the best experience! The staff is so wonderful and you can tell the quality of your stay is made possible by a group effort! Check-in/check-out has always been so friendly and helpful, the rooms are really comfortable and the cleanest we've ever seen, the hot breakfast is always delicious (and not in the typical hotel breakfast way- like SINCERELY good!) Plus they try to have to-go bags packed in case you don't have time to stop and eat! They really go above and beyond. I’ve honestly never had a better experience at any other hotel, we travel frequently and anytime we're driving within an hour radius of Omaha we go out of our way to stay here! Honestly just top tier hospitality.

I have stayed at numerous Hilton properties during domestic and international trips. This is one of my very favorite ones. Here is why ; On my first day when I checked in. I was welcomed by the front desk staff with a smile and warm reception. The staff member checking me in on June 20th 2022 when I checked in was Mike. Mike was sure to give me a detailed update on what to expect with breakfast and offered me the option to get room keys or digital keys. My check in was seamless and fast. The most important part of this all was to be provided the options by Mike of when I needed to have my room cleaned. This particular trip is a business trip for 11 nights. I was very intentional with my selection of where I wanted to stay because of how long my stay is. I read reviews on most of the Hilton properties in the area and settled on this one. Everyday I come back to my room after a long day of work. My room is sparking clean, the bed is made with clean sheets every day. The trash is taken out and bathroom is restocked with supplies and clean towels. The breakfast options are alright. I am not a big breakfast person. So I barely eat here. Only been once so far and their food was okay. I have always had to call the front desk at other Hilton properties to ask for supplies, for trash to be taken out. I haven't had to worry about that at the LA Vista location. They do their jobs without the guest having to come back behind them to request for what's supposed to be basic service during your stay. I will enjoy the rest of my stay and am confident in my review. Every morning I greet the front desk staff with a smile and thank them for making my stay with them pleasant.

I’ve been on the road fair amount recently for work….. this might be the best Hampton Inn I’ve been to. Clean, friendly staff, good amenities.

When it costs $50 for a tiny pet plus $130 plus tax and fees for 1 bed I do expect to see a room that doesn't have a broken toilet paper holder a wall in need of repair and tiles that need attention AND I should not stick the bathroom floor 😥

Everything was great! Room was clean, breakfast was very good, and customer service went above and beyond to make my stay great. I was only in for 1 night, but I would recommend to others.

The customer service here was amazing. From the front desk to the cleaning team and all of the breakfast staff, everyone was friendly and accommodating ‐ no easy task when you're hosting raucous kids' sports teams. We really had a great experience
