Elkhorn Lawn Care

Used ELC in the past a few times because I knew one of the owners and things were great. But it seems ever since he left, things have gone downhill. Asked for an estimate to move a sprinkler head a couple weeks ago which took some time and follow up to finally get. As I was waiting to get the first estimate, I found out a valve was leaking so followed up to get an additional estimate to get it repaired and got ghosted. Their prices have been on the high side and quality isn't as great as it used to be (had them move a couple sprinkler heads last year). I still sometimes mention them as an option to people, but I highly recommend getting additional estimates and comparing them to some of the smaller outfits in town, which is what I ended up doing. I ended up getting more responsive and quality service at a fairer price from a smaller company that actually seemed to want my business.

We just had our retaining wall done and we chose to use the same brick since it was still in fairly decent shape. These guys made quick work of taking down the wall and were so methodical and precise about putting the wall back up, glueing the bricks back in place, and cutting pieces down so they fit more properly. I would strongly going with this company. James and Alex were excellent to work with as well.

For 6 months we have been trying to figure out a BANG noise when we turned on our irrigation system and as it changed each zone. Our plumber was out to our house numerous times telling us it was ELC's issue. After numerous attempts by ELC to figure it out, they went above and beyond and contacted their vendor and their plumber to try and figure out what was going on. ELC suggested we use ProPlumb. Josh, the plumber, came out to our house and after about 30 min. FIXED the problem! Our other plumber did not pressurize the new hot water pressure tank which was installed back in January 2022 to match the pressure coming into the house. The BANG completely stopped! James at ELC and Josh at ProPlumb communicated and worked this out. They understood my frustration and as Josh put it "I promise you I will fix it" and he held true to his word! These guys are wonderful! Thank you again James and Josh!

Can't even explain how great the service was! We would recommend this company for all services and we are impressed with their staff. Thank you! We love our front yard now!

Awesome service and super easy to work with! James and Gerardo’s team worked quickly and made a really tough job look easy…they were on time and left the area they were working on as clean as they could. Highly recommend using Elkhorn Lawn Care for anything you need done concerning your yard, irrigation, or landscaping!!

This is the third season I've used Elkhorn Lawn Care, and haven't been disappointed. The 2022 crew was always polite and courteous, and they took pride in their work -- a rarity in today's service industry. Great job!

Elkhorn Lawn Care has done our lawn and snow removal for over sixteen years - they are very dependable and do an amazing job when mowing the lawn. We get compliments on our lawn all the time.

Miguel did a great job going through my sprinkler zones with me. He changed out one bad head and made adjustments to others. He was fast, yet thorough, and had good suggestions. I appreciated his expertise and excellent customer skills!

We are new customers with Elkhorn Lawn Care. One of our neighbors recently said our lawn hasn’t looked this good in several years. He noticed the Elkhorn staff attend to details while working efficiently. We agree and are so glad we found Elkhorn Lawn Care!

If there would be 100 stars they would get it from me. We met James and Alex when they were just starting their mowing service - well let me tell you how very much we are impressed by both of them. If you make an appointment with them they will always be early. If they promise you a date they will be there to do the work. One very impressed example was just this past summer (2015) when we had to have a couple trees taken down with added sod. Well it was cold and rainy and I mean rainy and 6 guys came all bundled up to do the job. If I could only go back in time to take a picture. Another great asset they have at the company is the priceless Tara - I would swear she is sitting at her computer ready to response to your email or answer any questions. I believe she needs a "BIG" raise. If you go with any other company it's only because you have not found them yet. It’s 2020 and what an improvement Elkhorn Lawn has made on our lawn and also some landscape. We love our front area listening to our fountain that they designed and installed. During the summer a couple plants did not make it and they replaced them with no problem. We had not been using them for our yard treatments but when they were out when day and told us what was wrong with our yard and treated us for it I will definitely go with them in the future.
