Great for saving a few bucks. Especially this time of year

I have frequented the La Vista, NE Dollar Tree for years predominantly for cheap craft & party supplies, decorations, gift bags etc., and have found my shopping experience to be quite satisfactory. Over the past 12-18 months (before Covid-19) however, I have needed to get more supplies than usual due to projects, weddings and milestone birthdays, and each time I have visited the store it has been a MOST UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE!!! The store is ABSOLUTELY FILTHY, disorganized and understaffed. Each visit is worse than the time before which means no cleaning, tidying or organization has been done in between visits to the store that are months apart. I swore the next time I visited the store, I would turn around and drive 2x the distance to another Dollar Tree if they were still in the same or worse condition. I would also post a review of my experience in this store. Sure enough, the situation is unchanged and in fact, looks worse. Clearly the owner/management and staff of this store have absolutely no standards or pride in their business and jobs. Certainly it is easy and one's choice to overlook the mess and filth in the store and for convenience sake, just to run in and grab the $1 item/s you need. I am certainly guilty of doing that. I do wish I had the presence of mind to take photos on this last visit. However for myself personally, I will no longer buy at the La Vista Dollar Tree until they, quite literally, 'clean up their act'. If customers continue to ignore the situation, it perpetuates the don't care attitude of the store management and staff. Businesses owe it to customers who frequent and spend money at their establishments to, at the very least, attempt to make it a pleasant experience. Start by cleaning your store!!!

Great shopping but there was alot of empty shelves

Very good customer service. But the cashier was a older woman and she had definitely put in a hard day! Going to say she is A+++ in my book! Thank you Bonnie at store 2258!!

The price is right. Lots of Christmas stuff, fun things, antler headgear, candy canes, decorations for Christmas trees. The gentleman at the checkouts are pleasant. I only give it four stars because the woman that works there is quite unpleasant. It's almost as if you're bothering her. But I like the store so I go back and try and pick another Lane that she's not checking you out of. Other than that the store is great.

This store is in much better shape than a few months ago. It used to look like a tornado when through the inside. Its sad that the general public can't put items back in the place they got it from or they let their kids go in and make a mess and leave it for employees to clean up. If you worked in retail you would understand. Good job Dollar Tree!

It was terrible waiting on line for 30 minutes, get to the register and he goes to office only 2 cashiers ,he an there another20 minutes i left before he came back. It sucked that was my experience

It is now $1.25 tree. That is still a bargain. However, on a Saturday morning they had one cashier with a line of at least 15 people. No one was on the floor to help her and no one came out of the office. I was third in line and waited 20 minutes to be helped. I believe she was new. That is not her fault, I'm sure she would have liked to have had another register open so that people weren't so hostile when they got to her. I'm surprised people waited so long. The shelves are not stocked really well, there are a lot of envy spaces. The merchandise seems to be of a lesser quality, but when you're only paying a $1.25 you have to pick through the merchandise to find a bargain. The soft drink "ICE"is no bargain you can buy it at Target for $0.95. as opposed to $1.25 in the Dollar Tree.. All in all it was a frustrating experience shopping there today. I recommend going when it is not crowded, or when there's more than one register open, but who knows when that would be........

This really used to be a great place to pick up items for children’s ministry, showers, weddings, birthday parties, etc. I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars through my business in this store. Unfortunately, today, they lost an excellent business customer. The manager (assistant) on duty, with long dark hair was rude, complaining about customers with returns, with another customer whom I have known for over 25 years. The complete lack of tact and unprofessionalism was disturbing. You could hear them clear in the back of the store just lambasting a customer for returns. The former management was always kind. The older employee on staff was mortified and apologized for this woman’s behavior. Just pitiful.
