Controlled Comfort

Our Air Conditioning (A/C) went out Wednesday night (about 10:30pm). I called Controlled Comfort (CC) and spoke with their after hours answering service. They do have after hours emergency service, but we decided to set an appointment for the following morning (we set the appointment with their after hours answering service for the following morning requesting an 8am appointment). On Thursday morning at 7:45am we received a call from "Jim" a CC technician who said he was "on his way." He arrived about 20 minutes later, checked the A/C, diagnosed the problem and advised us that our A/C fan motor had bad bearings and needed to be replaced. Fortunately, he had a replacement motor on his truck. Jim Ryan the CC tech replaced the motor and our A/C system was up and running in about 65 minutes. Jim appears to be extremely technically knowledgeable, professional, courtesy, and friendly. .

Controlled Comfort does great work and the yearly maintenance package has made our cooling & heating systems run strong with no issues for the last 15 years! I highly recommend this minimal expense each year—well worth it!!

I can hardly express my thanks to Jason and Controlled Comfort. I am so overwhelmed with the service, professionalism and promptness of Jason & Company. He went above and beyond to get my A/C checked and running properly with extremely prompt service and also to get my Flue Stack replaced, unit cleaned up and a decent thermostat installed. Jason also checked and resolved a few other things for me and my gratitude is endless for this awesome service and kindness.

Jimmy was extremely helpful. His timely service helped get the AC working again quickly. He then called me, answered all my questions, and provided ideas to prevent further issues. I will definitely use CC again for routine maintenance. I appreciate the work!

Thanks to Chuck, Brody and Justin for an excellent job of installing a new A/C and air handler. This configuration required the air handler to go into the attic .. so not an easy job in 90 degree heat. It’s an older home and they also had to deal with some unique and complex wiring of the thermostat connected to a boiler system. But everything went in without incident. The entire experience was positive. Great job .. everything is working great!!
