Bluebird Montessori Preschool and Daycare

Parents Beware I've been waiting to write this review as directed by Child Protective Services (CPS) for fear of interfering with their investigation. See this picture. This happened at Blue Bird Montessori. There were only 5 kids in the classroom with 2 teachers and they say they have no idea how it happened. Nobody saw or heard anything. This is not a simple bruise or small scratch. This is BIG. During their investigation CPS did find "a toy box with rough edges that *daughter* could have placed her hand in which could have produced those large scratches on her forearm (from her elbow to her wrist)." When you send your child to daycare you expect they'll be cared for. If they would have told us this happened that day we would have been understanding. But to avoid the blame and responsibility by claiming to know nothing is much worse. This shows neglect and it raises the question about what they're hiding. For example, the next day our daughter got a small scratch near her eye and they told us about it. Understandable. Later the same week (January 7, 2021) she had some red marks on her cheek from placing her face on the snow trying to eat it. They also told us about it and filled out an incident report. OK, but this raised another concern. How much was she putting her face in the snow? Were the caretakers watching? Why wasn't she redirected to do something else? January 7 was the last straw and our daughter's final day attending Blue Bird. If your child currently attends Blue Bird please ask yourself if you've seen any signs of neglect or unusual happenings. If you're considering sending your child here just know you may not get the care your child deserves or the full story from them. Look at the picture of my daughter's arm. This happened at Blue Bird Montessori and nobody claims to know how it happened. Is this incompetence, laziness or something else? Is this the care you want your child to receive?

Wonderful staff and owner, Tom. I've seen so much growth from my daughter on multiple levels. Can't thank you enough for the calming environment that inspires creative imagination, fun and learning. Thank you so much!

I cannot say enough about how great Bluebird Montessori is! My daughter is so excited to get up and go to school every day, then comes home talking nonstop about the work they did! Excellent staff and beautiful place!

We had our son in this school for several months. Tom and his staff are amazing people. The facility is extremely well kept and they did a great job setting it up. If we didn't move our son would still be going to school here, highly recommended.

My daughter has been going here for 6 months now and loves it. They have teachers not just "staff members". They are unlike any other facility I visited. (In a great way) Take a visit if you want to see how great a preschool/ daycare can be. Blessed to have found them.

I am a certified Montessori teacher, however I work in healthcare. I walk into a school or preschool and I have high expectations. When I was looking for a school for my daughter....I toured SO MANY places and was horribly discouraged. We just couldn't find a place that was true to the Montessori philosophy AND was affordable. I came upon Bluebird and set up a tour. I walked in to peace and happy children/staff. That was almost a year ago now. I literally cried during my tour bc I KNEW I had finally found a place my daughter could thrive. She has grown/learned SO much this past 10 months. I walk in and fall in love with this team/environment every day...over and over. We just had a baby and my daughter has been able to go to school and feel safe and loved and have so much care and consistency......it is JUST what she needs. I honestly cannot say enough about Bluebird.....it is more than a school....it is a blessing and we are SO happy we found them! Thank you to Tom and his team for providing such AMAZING care and education for all those kiddos!!!!!!

My daughter attends Bluebird and I am amazed with the staff on a daily basis. They are incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and do wonderful things for the children. I feel blessed to know with certainty that my daughter is in good hands with loving teachers. The school itself is beautiful, also, and the quality of the education is superb.

The best decision I ever made was enrolling my children at Bluebird Montessori. Everyone is amazing and make leaving my little ones better because I know that they are safe and happy. My children wake up everyday asking to see their teachers. They are sad to leave because they love it so much. The teachers are so incredible and truly care about each child. I highly recommend Bluebird Montessori!

Fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly staff that my kids (x2) absolutely adore, with little turnover (which is hard to find in other centers). Their Montessori curriculum is unmatched and getting to see my toddler and child blossom educationally is beautiful. The building is clean and tidy. This is a place you want your kids to attend and one that I as a nurse do not think twice about regarding the care my children receive. Their communication (via an app) on all issues is thorough and the owner and staff are prompt in returning questions. Bonus: getting to see the activities they do on the app and the piles of art my kid brings home. If you are looking for a center - Tour this one!

We LOVE this school!! I can’t say enough great things about it. The staff and teachers really get to know your children and families. There has not been any turnover which is comforting. Our two year old has learned so much while he has been there. Simply the best!
