U-Haul Moving & Storage at L St

The L-Street location called me the day before to verify my pickup time the next day. Got there at 9am when I said I would be there and they had the vehicle warmed up and ready to go. The check-in desk was friendly and informative. The vehicle was clean and the correct size that I ordered. The "check tire pressure" light was on but the employee explained that the tires were inflated and not losing pressure and that the sensor was faulty. He said he checked the pressure right before I came. Overall, a very good experience.

I wouldnt let me rate it ZERO stars.... First time.... and last time using this location. Chose the "no contact" option that they offer. When I arrived I couldnt find my truck so I had no option but to go inside. I had to start all over with the check-in process and then they gave me the keys to my truck and told me where to find it. It was behind the building covered in snow! It had not snowed in over a week! I had to go back in to request an ice scraper. Here I thought my truck would be all ready to go but NOPE! I already complained but never heard back from Uhaul but now they are trying to charge my card for another $20 for additional fees. SERIOUSLY!?!

Fantastic service! We rented a truck for an all-day Saturday move. I had reserved the truck online a week earlier, so check-in was smooth as they already had the truck ready to go. The truck worked great, was clean, no complaints at all. When we brought the truck back, they said we could could just leave and didn't need to go back inside. It was even quicker and easier than the check-in process. There was a slight issue with the invoice I received in an email later. It said we had rented a dolly when we hadn't. I called up to inquire about it, the manager called me back the following day and returned the fee, no problem. Such great customer service! I definitely recommend these guys for your truck rental needs.

This store did a great job! They were both quick and courteous. Shout out to Hunter for being amazing! He was polite, knowledgeable, and did a excellent job. We truly appreciate it! ;)

The rental process seems to be a challenge for clerk, not sure if it was the equipment or a new clerk.

Had to drive two hours just to get here because they refuse to answer the phone. They CLAIM to be super busy, but when I got here, there were three guys working and ONE customer and they were talking about COMBINES, not moving. They did finally get me my hitch and harness, so I do have to give them that.

The staff here had excellent customer service I could not ask for a better u-haul experience thank you very much for the every one that had helped me,JJ

The equipment was a tad old and worn. Needed some mechanical tlc for sure. Online app check in is absolutely a painful process. UHaul needs to figure out a better way

We rented a cargo van for a drive to Phoenix and back (with a few side trips). The van ran great and the service we got was outstanding. They certainly changed my view of U-Haul and I’d rent from them again. Highly recommended.

I didn't have any problems getting a trailer. The gentleman that helped me pick up and drop off was so nice. Make sure everything went good
