The Committee Chophouse

Hubby and I came here for my birthday dinner. Had a great experience! Our server Ashlyn was very attentive, went thru the menu with us, and made great recommendations. We got the tomahawk, with the lyonnaise potatoes, and creamed corn. For dessert, we had the apple creme brûlée. Ashlyn even wrapped up the steak bone to take home for our dog. The vibe is so cozy and sleek. Even the bathrooms were stunning. Highly recommend!

Visited today for the first time for date night. Everything was amazing. Got a drink called the Jackie. Don’t think about it just get it. All of the staff were so nice but I have to shout out Ashlynn (spelling)- her energy was so sweet and contagious. My boyfriend loved the decor & music. It was all a good vibe. Delmonico & filet mignon steak - both were amazing. Also get the cream corn as a side 👌🏾👌🏾

We had reservations here for my in-laws wedding anniversary. We ate in the Poker Room, and everything was absolutely incredible! My husband and I shared the Porterhouse, and it was delicious! It was perfectly cooked and practically melted in your mouth! Definitely in the Top 5 (at least) steaks I’ve ever had (the whole meal in general too). Our server was wonderful and so attentive! All of the sides and even the desserts were great! Top it off with a really cool atmosphere, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

We stopped in for dessert. The chocolate cake was good, and the baked Alaska was impressive. The service was slow, the server made it clear that he thought we ordered "wrong," and he made a show of taking the bill away from me (a woman) and handing it to my boyfriend, which was a huge turnoff. We're not local anyway, but would not plan to go back.

The steak was amazing. Go all in and get the tomahawk, Oscar style. You will not be disappointed. Also our server was exceptional. Don't remember his name but definitely left us feeling appreciated and very well taken care of.

We throughly enjoyed our meal here, honestly nothing was subpar. Our server was great and friendly and recommended great items. They make a mean mocktail, hopefully one day I’ll be back to try more of the alcohol cocktails, but my husband enjoyed his old fashioned and we liked the wine options. To start we ordered the walnut shrimp and pork belly. The pork belly was l amazing, go with this! The shrimp was yummy as well, but the pork belly was superior. PS I was really sad to hear they removed the potato soup off the menu…..wasn’t in the mood for the replacement of carrot soup. I ordered the halibut which was perfectly cooked, flaky and rich. My husband ordered the Delmonico steak, cooked to perfection! We also had the frites, sprinkled with paprika and a honey mustard sauce which you must not substitute, au gratin potatoes and mushrooms. All too much for us, but we had leftovers for snacks throughout our stay. This expecting mom couldn’t refuse dessert, so we ordered the crepe brûlée with butterbrickle ice cream, which I have no regrets about!! Luckily we were able to walk right up to our room and go into a food coma. We most definelty will be back!

Decent steak house, food was pretty good but not a million dollars good lol. Yes I understand this is a high end steak house so going in and looking at the prices I knew it would cost a lot but the steak was okay, the sides is what stole the show! Whipped potatoes good, au gratin good, cream corn good. Walnut shrimp and pork belly also very good. Next time might just order the sides! Also the espresso martini was excellent.

Eventually I'll have tried every steak house in town worth talking about, so I'm glad I finally got to stop by and try out this place. I've heard several people talk about how the chef's try and create a menu that isn't your stereotypical steakhouse menu, and I think they've done a pretty good job. Everything we had tasted great, my only complaint was a little bit slower service, but it's all good. Fair warning, they seem to go fairly heavy on the salt on their steaks. I'm a salt freak, so no issues here 🤷 but not everyone feels the same.

Amazing, new school steakhouse. Oysters were fantastic, steaks with black truffle butter were divine, and the big showstopper was the Old Bay Cheesecake. I've never had a desert that works in old bay before, yet somehow they perfected it. Plus the staff and service is amazing!! Made our night a totally awesome experience.

Had a fantastic birthday dinner here. We opted to try something different than steak and were not disappointed. The chilled shellfish platter was delicious and perfect for 2 people. Our friendly, attentive server answered all our questions and was always there when needed. There are lots of photos of the Baked Alaska Flambe in reviews and there's a reason for it. Not only is it a visual treat when delivered to your table, but the ice cream, cherries, meringue combination is a must get. Definitely returning for steaks.
