Less than 1 year ago, we purchased a vacuum for our business. I advised the salesman that our office had a lot of dirt and dust and asked him to recommend a good vacuum. The salesman talked me into buying a pricey $600+ vacuum. After having it less than 1 year it was not working, I was advised to bring it in and they would make it right. However, their idea of making it right was to give us $25 off of a new vacuum!!! So disappointed!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!!

I was attempting to find a roller brush for my twelve year old vacuum. Seven places online said it was no longer available. Called Omaha Vacuum and he said to bring it down as he had several different types. Didn't have one. Asked what I would be using it for. He had several used and new ones. Gave a couple of demonstrations and I ended up with a new Riccar (made in USA). He even gave me some money on my old one AND a box of new bags. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices online were the same or a little lower but now the warranty is local and he took a trade in. Buying local is the way to go. Mike

Owner is a family friend and have known him for years. Whenever I go into the store the staff is always extremely nice and helpful! The place is always spotless. Never had an issue and I always recommend them to friends. One time I was having issues with the powerhead on my electrolux vacuum and decided to take it to Omaha Vacuums. They fixed it in a timely manner and the cost was reasonable. Thanks Kevin!

I have had very good luck with simplicity's and do not have anything bad to say about them. However, when I went in for a repair, the I had a bad experience with the salesman. He tried to sell me a model for $499 that I can get online or at another local store for $299 and a refurbished one for $399. I inquired if they carried another brand and he went on a rant about how it was a "foreign product" and shouldn't buy "foreign people" and wouldn't be able to get parts and that it was "garbage." The product I asked about is typically rated very highly. I understand if local business want to support American made products; however, the undertone of his rant was clearly about "foreign people." If I do get my Simplicity repaired or purchase a new one, it certainly won't be from this store.

This is the second time I’ve taken a vacuum sweeper into Omaha Vaccum for repairs and both times I’ve left satisfied knowing that they knew what they were talking about and the charges were fair. I worked with a gentleman named Kent and he made me feel at home right away. He was professional, honest, listened well, knowledgeable and even funny. Boy I wish every Customer Service/Salesman that I dealt with could be like Kent. I know one thing, next time I need a new vacuum, I’m going to buy and support Omaha Vacuum. I would recommend Omaha Vacuum to anyone.

I had a Kirby for over 20 years and traded it in for a refurbished one that lasted me about 2 years. I was disappointed and decided to cut ties with the brand. I didn’t realize they are not built like they use to be. Ken gave me a 5 star customer service which is hard to find these days. I appreciated his honesty and giving me information of the options I have. He introduced me to Riccar which I purchased the Premium Pet model and so far I’m satisfied for now. My husband and I wish this model had a better duster attachment as the bristles are not that soft, bigger vacuum bag, and attachment to do stairs. We may have to upgrade in the future to a different model but for now its doing the job. I love the fact that Riccar has the 5 year warranty on this particular model we have. Took in our old vacuum that was not working well and traded it on for a new one. Kevin was very professional and helpful. He was knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions and concerns. And he was not pushy. I was able to call my husband and discuss things before buying. Overall, it was a good experience.

I took my Riccar Brilliance vacuum in there for a service, and WOW! It is like brand new. I think they even clean the electrical cord. What detail work! If anybody wants the best vacuum go to Omaha Vacuum. Great friendly service. I am a lifer for sure.

I couldn't find a replacement attachment for my vacuum through the company that made it. Found it here!!! I'm so thankful!!!

Had a great experience here. They weren't pushy on sales at all, gave me an honest opinion on my half broken vacuum, and answered my questions allowing me do leave to do additional research on my own. They told me they wouldn't recommend paying them to dig into the issue further (fully take the vacuum apart) because based on a quick review it was likely going to be something that wasn't fixable and it was just time to buy a new one altogether.
