La Mesa Mexican Restaurant

Horrible experience. Waited around to be seated, the hostess (a lady in her 40's) acted as if we were not wanted there and that she was put out by doing her job. . There may have been 5 tables being occupied when we showed up. Sat around for 15 minutes to finally be asked what we wanted to eat. After taking our order we waited another 30 minutes to receive our food, which came out like warm at best. Wife asked for corn tortillas and she received flour.

This is a quick wasy place to eat. We had fajitas for two. It was enough for a family of 4. Top self margarita. Wait staff was good. Check on us multiple times but never interupting. They have remodels and started to sell Tarmena aks the Rock tequila.

First time at Le Mesa, Food and service outstanding. I had the beef enchiladas.excellent so much food I couldn't only eat two enchiladas. Fabulous fine dining. Service outstanding..

Used to come here about once a month before the pandemic but food has definitely declined in quality since. Visited twice in the summer of 22 and had the same problem: the ground beef was very bland and was scorched. On the second visit, I informed the waitress that the beef tasted burned. She quickly took my plate back and asked the cook to make another tostada (ok good). Amazingly, she returned with a new plate and the ground beef was burned and scorched JUST LIKE the first plate. That tells me the cooks don't seem to know or care what the good food tastes like. There is also a persistent sewer smell in the bathroom. We're still debating whether to ever go back.

This place has been our go-to restaurant for Mexican food for a few years. Love the atmosphere and the the food is as good as Mexican food gets in Nebraska. Lately however, the smell in the the bathrooms is revolting. We're going to pause our La Mesa outings for a while to give them a chance to fix the problem. Hope to come back someday.

I've been here twice now and have not been left disappointed! Food and drinks is out of this world! I highly recommend the Bahama Mama margarita! My husband really likes the enchiladas and I love the molcajete! Overall a really great experience!

Eric Berto gave us great service. Friendly, and not too many questions. No patronizing attitude either. Great food and very reasonable for the quality, in my opinion. The green salsa isn't that spicy, and delicious! Thanks LA Mesa and Eric!

They always have great food, friendly staff and margaritas of course.

The food is consistently good in our experience. They have a kids menu for the picky eaters and the fries are the good kind. And even when you think your server is too busy stopping at all the tables to remember what you just asked them for, they get it right anyway. I love their taquitos, that's my go-to, with some extra shredded cheese (the good kind) on the side. The whole family loves this place!

Awesome food. Great taste. Inside ambience is very good. Highly recommend for the mexican foods.
